The building needs shutting down.
The location was convenient for where we needed to be. Unfortunately, that is genuinely the only positive thing I can say about our stay.
Absolutely filthy and unhygienic. The corridor leading to the room was dirty, with an overpowering stale cigarette smell. The room door was jammed and difficult to open.
Inside was even worse. The floor was covered in stains and dried spills, and I had to ask for a mop and bleach and clean it myself. The sink was blocked, the toilet was disgusting, and the cupboards, doors, surfaces and areas around the beds were filthy.
The fridge was unplugged, smelly and disgusting, with melted water sitting inside, brown and black stains and what appeared to be mould. I had to bleach and clean that myself too.
I ended up buying cleaning products and bleaching the entire room from top to bottom. The bedding was torn, so I also bought my own mattress protector, pillows, duvet and covers because we did not feel comfortable sleeping in what was provided.
The windows were filthy inside and out, and I left with several unexplained bites on my arms and legs.
I have stayed in extremely cheap accommodation while travelling in Asia and have never experienced anything this bad. Basic is acceptable; filthy and unhygienic is not.
RIEN ! N’y allez pas ! Je suis revenue avec des boutons sur tout le corps, la sdb et les toilettes communes étaient un cauchemar (pas de lumière ni de PQ ds les toilettes, impossible de fermer les portes à clef). Nous y sommes restés 5 jours et n’avons pas vu la trace d’un nettoyage. Pas de wifi, tout est vétuste, pas de savon, pas de serviette de toilette, nous avons dû tout racheter sur place. Le propriétaire n’a pas répondu à nos appels, et je pourrais continuer la liste. Bref, n’y allez SOUS AUCUN PRÉTEXTE

The room was nice and clean and tidy and I was only using the room to go to bed because me and my girls like to stay out when we were there
I didn't like it because there was no toilet roll in the toilet
The location to the rebellion festival was ideal. Sheets where at least clean
No toilet paper in room upon arrival. When asked for toilet paper was given not even 1/2 a roll. Not given hand soap in room or a towel to dry off in the shower. Had to purchase on my own. Sink would back up and leak constantly. No wifi even though advertised as having it. Kitchen area was only a sink which had to be shared with the toilet. Fridge was provied but poured off upon arrival and didn't cool properly.

Absolutely nothing! It was only 10 mins walk from main areas, but that’s it! Everything else was shocking!
Broken TV, broken kettle, no towels, no toilet roll, no Wi-Fi as stated, no parking space as also stated, fridge froze everything, window latch didn't shut, stunk of cigarette smoke, barely any water came out of taps, door hinge was broken so door didn’t shut properly you had to lift it to shut and lock it. Cannot believe booking.com advertise the Mellory Hotel. The £85 I paid was a joke and I do believe I should be entitled to some sort of refund. We didn’t even get undressed and slept fully clothed in coats on top of bed! Thank god we were only there one night. The place should be shut down!
The price of my stay represented very good value for money, The location of the hotel was very good as well, it was very close to Coral Island, and therefore close to Blackpool town centre, and the other main attractions as well. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. The room itself was on the top floor, and had an excellent view of Blackpool tower as well. There was also a wash hand basin, and a kitchen worktop in the room as well. The room also had a wardrobe, TV, microwave, and fridge as well, so it was fairly well set up. The person checking me into the hotel, also provided me with a very good heater as well for the room, and already had it switched on for me checking in, so the room was very warm when I arrived. The hotel itself was very quiet during my stay, but I was there during the off-peak season, so it might not be like that all the time though.
The room itself, and also some parts of the hotel could be doing with some refurbishment, but overall the facilities were reasonable for the price paid for the room.
