Un petit paradis !
Pros:

Nous avons tout aimé à Loedi bungalows :
- le calme
- la superbe plage juste en face
- la piscine et les parties communes
- le confort et déco du bungalow, le grand dressing, la salle de bain extérieur très agréable
- les petits déjeuners différents tous les jours (mention spécial pour le nasi goreng avec le smoothie banane)
- le personnel très discret et gentil

Nous nous sommes vraiment bien senties ici pendant quatre jours, un vrai petit paradis.

Cons:

Rien, tout était super.
Juste peut être, si vous louez des scooters, pensez à vérifier l’état général et surtout freins et pneus. Nous avions eu un scooter plutôt dangereux mais nous avons pu le changer le lendemain après notre balade, sans problème.

Our stay at Loedi Bungalows was simply wonderful. The place is a little paradise by the sea, perfect for relaxing and unwinding. The bungalows are comfortable, clean, and tastefully decorated, surrounded by nature and with incredible views.

The best thing, without a doubt, is the attention from the entire team: always attentive, friendly, and willing to help at any time, making you feel at home from day one. The food is homemade, fresh, and delicious, prepared with great care.

The location is ideal for enjoying the beach, snorkeling, and exploring the island. They also offer activities and recommendations that make the experience even more special.

In short: an authentic, peaceful place with a very special energy. I recommend it 100% and will definitely return.

Best place in Rote Island
Pros:

Loedi Bungalows is an absolute paradise! The bungalows are charming, comfortable, and perfectly blend into the natural beauty of Rote Island. What impressed us most was the pristine, clean beach right at the doorstep – soft sand, crystal-clear water, and hardly anyone around. It feels like your very own private slice of heaven.
On top of that, the property now has Starlink WiFi, which worked flawlessly during our stay. It made it easy to share photos with family, take a few video calls, and still disconnect whenever we wanted. It’s the perfect balance between island remoteness and modern comfort.
The team at Loedi is warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere is wonderfully authentic – you really feel the charm of Rote here. If you’re looking for a place where you can relax, enjoy nature, and still have reliable connectivity, this is the spot.
Highly recommended – we can’t wait to come back!

A disappointment
Pros:

The room was a nice design and on the beach with great snorkelling

Cons:

Sadly so many things. The room was really hot at night. The walls were open so security wise it felt fairly unsafe. They had 3 dogs at the property that were constantly barking and were aggressive towards my 10 year old daughter (who is used to animals as we have many pets of our own). We arrived at midday and had booked dinner for that night. Upon arrival we ordered a coconut and a beer from the menu , they had absolutely nothing in stock and said we could order stuff tomorrow ! There were no shops open in the area that day (because of a holiday) . Honestly it was such a disappointing stay, so sad because the location is sweet .

Un coin de paradis le manger Nike est super sympa la plage est magnifique le jardin superbe le petit déjeuner est bon .nous avons louer une voiture pour 22€ par jour donc pas de problème pour visiter l île et pour les restaurants nous avons pris une nuit pour tester et nous avons ajouté 3 nuits supplémentaires.je conseille fortement cette hôtel .merci Nike pour ton accueil

We liked that it was a quiet location, peaceful and friendly staff and great Manageress.

Cons:

Pleased we didnt pay for the beachfront bungalow as you couldnt see the beach for the trees. Altho a beautiful beach it was ruined by a ridiculous amount of rubbish mainly on the high tide mark, it needs a major clean up. Weve visited beaches worldwide but this was the worst weve seen. Some of the roads in and out of Loedi were so bad we did not attempt to use our scooter especially at night.

Staff gentilissimo e camere belle e originali. La spiaggia è magnifica e la sabbia è davvero morbida.

Cons:

Peccato non ci sia vicino un altro ristorante per poter variare un po'. Purtroppo la spiaggia, pur essendo splendida, è molto sporca: le onde del mare depositano plastiche e rifiuti che noi esseri (dis)umani produciamo e poi abbandoniamo. Ci sono delle persone che si occupano di pulire la spiaggia ma non è per niente sufficiente...

Open nature of the bungalows allows for noise travel.
There is no access to restaurants and the food available at the accom is very expensive for local food and requires solid planning

Beautiful place.
Pros:

The area is beautiful and the beach is really quiet. Amazing sunsets. The hotel is lovely - really great design. The rooms are gorgeous. The hotel was beautifully clean. The garden is lovely. Some people complained about ac but I thought it was fine when I was there. I loved that the.hotel has native pandan trees and supports replanting in the area.

Cons:

There is nothing else round there. For me this is a good thing and why I chose it, but there are no other restaurants around. Again, this is not a problem in itself as the hotel says it has a restaurant. However, you have to request food the day before which I did. However, the manager said they couldn't supply food as they did not have enough vegetables. I was expected to just be ok with this. I was told they could organise a 200,000 taxi ride to Nembrala for me. After saying I would cancel my booking they found vegetables. I think this is problematic and the management is not great. Food is basic. It is fairly well cooked but mostly fried and really salty. Your choices are chicken, prawns, squid or fish. You get no choice for breakfast. You have no cboice about time. I think they need to work on the food. It is not terrible, but not great. It is why I gave this place an 8.
The beach has a lot of litter on it. They employ people to clean it which is great though.

The genuine warmth and helpfulness of the staff who went out of their way to provide ideas and assistance to maximise our holiday experience.

Cons:

An air conditioner would assist with sleep time comfort. Also, a more stable towel-drying rack in the bathroom area would be an improvement.

Loved this accommodation and will be telling friends to stay
Pros:

The location is just gorgeous and our accommodation was a beautiful generously fitted out island style room. Complimentary tea, coffee and water and friendly well trained staff. Wish we could stay longer
