Bel endroit , bel acceuil !
Rustige ligging, vriendelijk personeel. Heel beperkte menukaart, maar wel lekker.
+ zwembad
RAS
Nice views, nice (even if simple) common open spaces. Wifi (only in common spaces) was good.
Breakfast too simple for the cost.
Great location and beautiful views. The staff could not have been nicer or more helpful! The main bar/restaurant is a bit dusty and dated, but the rooms are clean, the air conditioner worked well, and the shower had great water pressure. With 2 pools to choose from, we could cool off easily and they were both great. Breakfasts were fantastic with real coffee, warm bread, homemade jams, cheese, and eggs.
The only drawback was that there are only 3 main dish options on the hotel menu for dinner, so if you are staying multiple nights, you'll probably want to each elsewhere after the first night.
Friendly staff and owner lives and works there. The staff is efficient and friendly.
The diners were made up of good local fish, veggies and fruit.
A room for 2 people costs the same like 2 rooms in an equivalent hotel in Dakar !! That is way too much for that type of installation (simple bangalows).
Hospitality
Mosquitoes.
The owners were very welcoming as well as the staff. The hotel is just the right size with its 13 rooms. Food was quite good and Rena the owner offered us a digestif drink and joined us to drink it, it was very pleasant.
The air conditioning in the room could not get the room cool enough for us to sleep well...
Food was excellent, staff very incredibly positive and responsive, property was very well maintained and managed, and above all it was very clean: Cordon Bleu proved the perfect setting for a mind-free and relaxing getaway from the city!
Very friendly people and an authentic place in the mangroves.
A tour through the mangroves is a must-have for every nature lover. An enormous variety of birds can be found there and if you are lucky you can also see dolphins.
The view of the mangroves and the tides make the hotel a great place. There is a small jetty right near the hotel from which you can watch the sunset.
The food is fresh, simple and delicious.
Nothing is missing.
We were treated well in English, although a good knowledge of French is generally useful for Senegal.
A nice place to spend a few days!
Very nice
Nothing
Owner very nice helpful guy
stay very friendly
The only positive I can say about cordon blues is their location it is nice place to start a boat trip in the Delta.
The owner and the staff were not hospitable or helpful in anyway. The owner is greedy I would not recommend arranging a boat tour with this hotel they charge double the rate. The rooms were small and the facilities were’t very nice. They only have wifi in the dining area you can’t use it in your rooms. They do not care about their guest I would not recommend anyone to stay here. Also they are not English friendly.
the perfect location, the pools and eating area. the staff were very helpful and always smiling. the host is a great guy always willing to help.
i found the rooms stuffy and uncomfortable. the mosquito nets don’t fit the bed and in a room with two beds, only one has the net. there were cockroaches in the room and the old and cracked window panes let in mosquitoes. there was a tv that was not plugged in and loose cut cables were hanging out. not a child friendly room in my view.
