The breakfast was really good and location was great, for visiting other parts of Cornwall. Also staff were helpful especially Grace.
The lack of air conn.
Clean and comfy !
We had 2 small foldable bikes, they proposed to store them in the garage…. When we returned from our bike tour in the evening they told us, 9,5 pounds to store them…. Eventually after some discussions they void the charge…

The sea view. Clean and comfortable.
The shower sometimes became a dribble and temperature went hot and cold probably at times of high demand.
It was perfect for a nights stay before the Scilly islands.
The bed was comfy and staff were polite
Reception was not obvious, hotel had a student union vibe and not a hotel feel at all, main reason we did not eat or drink there. Parking was on a first come first served basis, but we were not aware that had to be booked prior, so went early to see if they had any spaces and they didn't have any, so we parked elsewhere. Room was very basic and needs modernising, table was loose and glass shelf in bathroom was loose, holes in tiles and had hairs in the bath from previous guests. Carpet was coming up near doorway, just shabby. Sea View was nice, but very noisy, windows could do with more soundproofing. Plenty of tea and coffee facilities/biscuits and some crisps. Not all channels were working on TV. When we came back from our evening out, door was locked and we had to knock several times for anybody to open it. For the money we paid £179 for what should have been a four star hotel was not worth the money at all and we could not wait to leave.
