We loved the location in the garden! We could hear monkeys, birds, and frogs. Still, the place was clean and peaceful.
Our fabulous hostess did everything possible to make our stay excellent.
The lady that owns the place is a very nice and kind person. Great person to chat with. The place is very close to the beach. The breakfast, paid separately, was good.
The room is way too hot and not that clean. The bed and pillow are not comfortable

Air conditioning would be nice but the rooms have fans and the price was right.
The property is safe, clean and rustic. It’s a 3 minute walk to the beach. You can hear the waves crashing at night. The owner Silvia is a local woman with a wealth of knowledge about the area. Overall our stay was perfect.
Bring cash to pay for the room. There isn’t an atm or bank near, so be prepared before arriving. Also good for small groups because of intimate space.

I really enjoyed my stay! Wonderful owner, nice peaceful place. Just 5mins walk from the beach. Great rooftop terrace for relaxing. Highly recommend!

Location is perfect, especially for those who wants to be connected with the wild nature.

The only thing is that it’s warm in the room, because of air vent (seems like it’s not possible to put air conditioner there)

Location and staff
Kitchen had no equipment. A kettle, coffee machinę etc would be appreciate. Fan was poor so room very hot. A few little improvements would make a massive difference
Lindo lugar
Cute little building, great location close to the beach, a quiet place among the trees with a very pleasant rooftop space. Very kind and smiling owner, nice homemade breakfast.
Silvia was very kind and her dog very cute! Wonderful garden with butterflies and hummingbirds, a Villa Kunterbunt :D
We didn't spend much time so can't really say, we appreciated the late check in as well as the view from the tower
The breakfast was very nice and the wifi in the common area worked very well; the site is beautiful and directly next to the lovely Junquillal beach. We can hear howler monkeys in the morning and see beautiful birds and nature immediately. the top terrace is beautiful and the view of the Pacific very nice.
We stayed here during the hottest week of the year (semana santa) when everywhere in Guanacaste it is exceedingly warm. So we had a hard time sleeping due to the heat. I would recommend asking for a cooler room perhaps without a view so that you are more insulated from the sun.
