One of the worst places I've ever stayed.
Pros:

It was close to Semarang airport
The air conditioning worked.

Cons:

Bedroom and bathroom were dirty, there were stains and marks on the walls, the bed linen had pen marks on the pillow cases, the whole building suffering from mould, nothing felt cared for.
One of the power points in the bedroom wasn't working, there was an unsightly cardboard patch over a section of the ceiling, there were dirty rags / towels lying in the hallway. They had those weird half length duvets that you sometimes find in Indonesia that only cover half of your body..either torso or legs and feet, but not both.
I have no idea why this place rates an 8/10 on booking.com. It was really bad..maybe one of the worst places I have ever stayed in. I felt embarrassed taking my partner there.

Cons:

This hotel is dilapidated and dirty! The bathrooms have stains from 10 previous guests on the walls and the floors. The duvet had suspect spots on. The towels are way past any useable date. The walls are marked with previous guests spills. THERE ARE NO WINDOWS IN THE ROOM! It is literally like a jail cell! The shower water is luke warm bordering on cold. There are huge gaping holes in the walls by the steps. This hotel should not be bookable on Booking.com
