Fukuyama... a little gem in the eastern corner of Hiroshima
Pros:

Much more plush than we expected for the price. Parking was right in front of the hotel and the staff helped us carry our bags from the car, which I've never experienced in a Japanese business hotel before.

Cons:

Nothing. By chance there was a festival on, and the hotel's central location was ideal for that too.

フロントの方の対応も良く、部屋も清潔にして下さっていた。

Cons:

欲を言えば、枕の高さが高すぎたので、調節できる枕やとありがたいです。
朝8時台から、廊下でお掃除の方の話し声が聞こえた。

Pros:

駅近で立地がよい。尾道や高梁等観光地にも行きやすく便利だった。
ロビーにコーヒーのホットとアイスの用意があり、お湯も飲める。部屋には緑茶のティーパックあり。
部屋の清掃をするか、しないでタオル交換、ごみ捨てのみが選べる。タオル交換のみにすると水のペットボトルがもらえてありがたかった。
両手に飲み物を持っている時にエレベーターを開けてくれたりと、スタッフの方も親切にしてくださいました。近くの美味しいお店も教えていただきました。

Cons:

部屋の広さに比べると水回りは狭いけれど、普通のビジネスホテルサイズかなと思います。

Won't stay here again
Pros:

Location was good.

Cons:

The room was not cleaned to an acceptable standard. We found an empty box of condoms underneath the bed, which was quite unpleasant and raised concerns about the overall cleanliness of the room. The carpet was also filthy and sticky underfoot, making the room feel unhygienic.

The mattress was old, overly springy, and uncomfortable, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep.

Parking was advertised as ¥600, but we were charged ¥1,000. The hotel's underground car park was full when we returned after being out for a few hours. Although we spotted an empty space, we were directed to park in the adjacent outdoor car park instead, which offered no shade. As a result, the car was already extremely hot by the following morning.

Overall, these issues made our stay far less comfortable than expected.
