Good option for staying in the “New City”
Pros:

Good central location for exploring the new city. Very good breakfast. Nice, fun decor. Super friendly and helpful staff. Lots of restaurants nearby.

Cons:

Between two subway stops, so if you’re walking with luggage it’s about a 10-15 walk from a station.
No elevator, but staff carried our bags, so not an issue unless you have difficulty with stairs!

Das beste Hotel der Welt
Pros:

Alles war perfekt . Schon 2. mal in Faik und wieder begeistert. Service , Sauberkeit, fantastisches Frühstück, gute Lage, ruhig, das ganze Personal ist ausgezeichnet!! Murat und Nila waren besonders hilfsbereit. Wir freuen uns schon jetzt auf unseren nächsten Besuch. Wir fühlen uns in diesem Hotel wirklich wie zuhause . Einer meiner angenehmsten Aufenthalte in Istanbul – mit historischem Flair, zentraler Lage und herzl
Pros:

Ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt mit historischem Charme, gemütlicher Atmosphäre und unglaublich freundlichem Personal. Unser Zimmer war geräumig und makellos; die Bettwäsche wurde regelmäßig gewechselt und jedes Detail war mit Sorgfalt durchdacht. Das Frühstück war köstlich und bot jeden Tag verschiedene Leckereien – besonders die Omeletts und frisch gepressten Säfte waren unsere Favoriten. Die Lage des Hotels ist ebenfalls sehr zentral – nur 10 Gehminuten bis zur Istiklal-Straße und ganz in der Nähe von Galataport. Abends sorgen die nahegelegenen Cafés und Bars für eine lebendige, aber nicht störende Stimmung. Kurz gesagt: Wer in Istanbul eine Unterkunft sucht, in der man sich wie zu Hause fühlt, ist hier genau richtig!

Es war ein absoluter Traum! Danke für alles!

Wir wurden an unserer Ankunft nicht nur mit einem dicken Grinsen begrüßt, sondern auch mit einem Zimmerupgrade überrascht. Die Freundlichkeit aller Mitarbeiter in dieser Unterkunft ist unbeschreiblich gut und sucht seinesgleichen.
Das Frühstück war fantastisch und an allen drei Tagen frisch und abwechslungsreich.
Wir können uns all den guten Bewertungen nur anschließen.

Cons:

Da fällt mir absolut nichts ein. Wenn man hier etwas finden will, muss man wirklich das Haar in der Suppe suchen wollen.

Perfect hotel
Pros:

This is my third time staying at this hotel and the least I can say is that I am more than impressed once again. For starters, we had everything we needed in our room. Towels, bathrobes, toothbrushes, free water, coffee and tea and many more things. The staff was extremely kind. They would give us advice for any place we wanted to visit, how to get there and what days to go. The breakfast had a lot of options, from sweets to vegan things to gluten free food. The staff would always offer to make us omlet, menemen, coffee, tea and more traditional Turkish dishes. The hotel building is very unique and not like the usual chain hotels. It is decorated with a lot of antique stuff, carpets and vintage painting, giving you the impression that you travelled back in time. The hotel gives you a warm feeling, as if you are at home. Also, the hotel is located 5 minutes from Istiklal and from tramway stations, from where you can explore the rest of Istanbul. There are also many cosmetic salons and convenience stores very near. There is also a parking place opposite of the hotel reception. If you travel my plane, the staff makes sure to book you a taxi for your checkout.
Each year we are more and more impressed and satisfied with this hotel, always exceeding all our expectations and always having the best time and experience when staying there. I recommend this hotel to everyone, especially families with kids and antique lovers. Can’t wait to come back!

Old House with style with excellent breakfast.
Pros:

Very good breakfast with homemade pastries and pies. On demand eggs with a lot of filling and the breakfast is changing days after days. The hotel is in a super nice area of Istanbul and everyone is very friendly. Decoration in singular, in a good way.

Cons:

The rooms are smaller than what I saw in the pictures and the bathroom wasn't meeting my expectation. I was hoping for a bathroom similar to what I saw on the picture but I got something different. In general the room is made of 2 parts, a corridor entrance is linking rooms on the left and a small kitchen, living room on the other side therefore i thought everything was small, but it's an old house, part of the charm. I would have expected to knew this detail before making the booking.

Mi è piaciuta molto la location in un antico palazzo corredato da quadri, sculture, si respira l'arte ovunque, nei vicoli intorno negozietti vintage, sotto con una breve passeggiata in discesa, si raggiunge il mare, sopra invece c'è Istikal Caddesi e piazza Taksim, Il personale fantastico, Un bacio a voi tutti e al gatto Cinnamon

Cons:

E' tutto bellissimo, volevo solo segnalare le scalette a chiocciola non adatte a chi ha problemi motori, essendo antico non è dotato di ascensore.
