Is a hidden gem, very clean rooms. The staff is great, definitely recommend.
Peaceful
Beautiful
We felt very welcomed! Wilma was wonderful and she prepared us a great breakfast. The location is unbeatable
Excellent presentation, great staff
The receptionist is super kind and also has solutions for the situations
nothing
My stay at Refugio Huasteca was absolutely memorable! I traveled only with my mother and had many concerns as I am not familiar with the area and it was my first time visiting.
All staff is incredible and very attentive to our needs. I truly feel they personalized my experience and made me feel at home and safe. Hotel is clean and exceptionally maintained.
I needed someone that I could trust to show us around. Per my request they recommended us with a wonderful guide to show us around, who was compassionate, caring ( my mom is 60) of both my mom and I, and very knowledgeable, Mr. Jorge Castilla.
I will be returning to Hotel Huasteca with my family, there is no doubt about it. They have exceeded my expectations!
Finally, they even planned out a beautiful dinner for my mother and I on our last day, that we will never forget. We cried of joy we laughed.
P.s My car had a flat tire, they helped find someone to fix it.
Very clean, beautiful and quiet. Friendly and attentive staff. Tasty breakfast. AC was a blessing given the current heat wave.
All was good :) there were some electrical blackouts during our stay, but it is a common issue in the area and not the fault of the staff or the hotel itself.
This little hotel is amazing! The property and rooms are much more beautiful than you can tell in the photos— we were in an oasis from the time we entered the property. The check in staff was friendly and professional, and the rooms are spacious, very clean, and smell like a spa.
The staff will ask you what you’d like for breakfast the next day, and they prepare it for you as you sit in the garden dining area. Coffee is great, and attention to detail is exceptional.
The hotel is about a 5 minute walk from the city center, where I’d recommend Tacos Don Lalo— they were some of the best tacos I’ve ever eaten. The streets around the hotel are a little bit dark, but we saw so many locals walking about—kids running around, women walking alone— so I felt comfortable walking in town in the evenings.
More suggestions about what to do in the area would have been nice, but we found some great activities with ease just by walking into town. It would also have been nice if dinner was offered at the hotel, but the owner informed us when we expressed this to her on our last day that the next time we come with our family we can request a chef come and prepare dinner .
The breakfast was fresh and presented well - Was on time as requested and we did not reel rushed at all. The atmosphere also is beautiful. A hidden gem
Pool and Jacuzzi was too cold and I could not get the air to go lower than 24
Easy to find property with parking behind a gate. The owner speaks English and was very friendly and accommodating. We needed to wash our car and she assisted in finding someone to clean it
A taco truck was onsite for dinner and was very good. We ate breakfast twice at the hotel and the service and food was excellent.
It was a very quiet and safe property. Well maintained and beautiful gardens. We would recommend staying here.
Close to both Puente de Dios and Cascada Tamul.
All great
Definitely a place to stay when you are in the area. Clean, cozy, well done. Will not write to much so it doesn't turn into advertisment, but, really, by my experience, you cannot miss!
Cannot think of anything!
