Das Hotelzimmer hatte alles was man brauchte. Es war sauber und das Personal sehr nett.

Cons:

Leider gab es am Pool nur eine funktionierende Liege....Die Bahngleise sind direkt neben dem Hotel, dadurch ist es sehr laut, wenn die Bahn vorbei fährt.

Pros:

A very large and comfortable room with a balcony. The yard is very well maintained. The hotel manager is really nice.

Cons:

‏The pool is very dirty, we didn't swim in it at all because of that. The hotel is next to the train tracks. Every day in around 7 in the morning a train passes and it makes a lot of noise. it passes there several more times during the day.
We slept with earplugs, which helped a little, but I wouldn't recommend it to people who are sensitive to noise.

Best place, super comfy, most friendly owner
Pros:

Shan is the best hotel owner in Sri Lanka. He treated me not like a client but like a brother. Very friendly and super helpful! I recommend Shan Star to everyone who wants to enjoy beautiful Weligama with a very nice room and incredibly friendly staff. Everything was super clean und the king size bed was the best I was sleeping in for a long time. Keep up the good work my friend and I hope to see you again soon!

Beautiful place
Pros:

Room was clean and spacious with nice balcony. Swimming pool in the garden was a nice little bonus as well. Shan was friendly and very helpful. We would absolutely stay here again if we go to sri lanka again!

Pros:

i appreciated the peaceful location, even though it’s close to the main road and next to the train tracks, it’s much more quiet than I expected! the room was spacious, very clean, comfortable bed and a lovely terrace looking over the garden. The staff is ready to help you with anything and grants all the privacy you need. highly recommend!

Absolutely brilliant stay at Shan Star - best value for money of any hotel we visited!
Pros:

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Shan Star! Shan couldn't have been more helpful, kind and accommodating. He went the extra mile to make sure we were happy, and just generally offered an outstanding service. This accommodation is unbeatable on price, and is the best value for money hotel we stayed in while visiting Sri Lanka. The breakfast was also great, with delicious fruit picked from the garden itself! Shan organised a great snorkelling excursion for us, which was fantastic too. I couldn't recommend this place enough!

Friendly Host and Staff who are trying to make you comfortable as much as they can.

Brilliant small hotel.
Pros:

Everything, the warmth and friendliness of everyone at the lovely little hotel. Amazing, clean rooms, beautiful massive beds and great bathroom.
Fully functional shared kitchen, and the pool is a beauty. It's an absolute bargain and close to a couple of beautiful little beaches (jungle & Ketature)
Located 2 mins from the train station & bus stop. Everything is easy. Thanks my friends see you again soon.
