Beautifully designed and landscaped resort hotel. Each room is a casita terraced up a hillside. Very friendly staff who took good care of me. The site is very quiet on the edge of the village, a 5 minute walk to the beach and a 10 minute walk to the center of the village. There are restaurants and cafes across the road.
There are no common spaces to interact with other guests.
Great place, we would definitely stay here again! The room was spacious, clean, and the AC worked great - and the bed was really comfortable. The layout of the property is nice as each room has plenty of space around it affording privacy and places to sit (benches and a hammock). The location is off of the beach up in the trees, but it's just a few minutes' walk away. For us this was perfect as it allowed us to sleep peacefully both in the day and night and not be disturbed by any party noises from the beach.
The water pressure is very low on the property - not a problem really, but it took a bit longer for washing long hair.
Deuxième séjour à Casa Flor de Mar, et c’était tout aussi merveilleux que la première fois.
J’ai été accueilli avec un sourire par les propriétaires, qui habitent sur place. Le jardin est très paisible et bien entretenu. L’établissement se trouve à seulement cinq minutes à pied de la plage, tout en étant à l’écart de l’animation de Zipolite... un véritable havre de paix.

Loved our stay! The rooms are spacious, with coffee makers and fridges and lovely big showers. Hot and cold water, great pressure. Every room has a small patio area with seats and a hammock too.
The bathrooms are only swing doors so bear that in mind (but the patio and hammock makes it easy to give each other privacy).

The villas are beautiful and the location is minutes from the best beach for swimming and a short walk to the main part of town. The owners were helpful and attentive.
We would absolutely stay here again. The room was beautiful and very well designed with outdoor space and privacy from other guests. The location is just a few minutes walk to town but felt isolated and quiet. The staff were all very friendly and held our luggage before check-in and after check-out, and also helped us call a taxi. The internet is not the fastest here but that's most of Zipolite ;) thank you Casa Flor de Mar!
Lovely villa to stay in. Big and comfortable bed, big shower, cute terrace.
We especially loved the location: Really close to the beach (5min walk) but remote enough so that it's really quiet during the evening/night. Plus, the collectivo to take you to Mazunte is close by as well.
Very convenient and secure parking options if you travel by car.
