My stay was absolutely wonderful! The property is stunning, with a beautiful setting that immediately feels welcoming. The breakfast was delicious and offered a great variety to start the day right. I especially loved the swimming pool, it was clean, inviting, and perfect for relaxing. Every aspect of my stay exceeded expectations, making it a truly memorable experience
The only thing to mention is that there are no lunch or dinner options available. It would be nice if they could provide some basic snacks, like crackers, toast, or other simple items
Our stay at Casa de Noronha Lima was fantastic. The location is unbeatable—tucked away on a quiet street but just a short walk from all the main attractions. The breakfast was a highlight each morning, with a delicious selection of fresh, local foods that gave us the perfect start to our day. Highly recommended!
We understood that the staff was dealing with challenges from the nearby fires around Alvarenga. However, this seemed to impact the maintenance of the facilities, particularly the swimming pool. It was in need of a cleaning, which affected our ability to fully enjoy it during our stay.

Probably my new favourite stay!
- Breakfast and drinks were homemade and very, very good. Way above your average hotel breakfast!
- The service and attention to detail are outstanding. Sandra clearly loves what she does :)
- The room I stayed in was very comfy and they cleaned it up DAILY.
- The view is beautiful and you often get to see the clouds below the mountain in a sea of fluffiness.
- Good internet (over 100MB/s download & upload outside the house).
- Partner activities like rafting, canoeing, and canyoning are great fun and very professional.
Bonus: The pool uses salt!

Everything was perfect, I literally have no complaints. I suppose I wish the public transportation on the way there was better, but that's about it, and I'm usually very picky!

Absolutely beautiful place! Everything is new and well-designed, the view from the pool area is mindblowing. Only 15 min to walk to the bridge! Highly recommend.

Excellent location to arouca Bridge. We were looked after so well by Sandra and Anna and they were so welcoming and attentive. The place was spotless and the breakfast was excellent with lots of variety. We also really enjoyed the pool and the views are amazing.

We experienced amazing hospitality during our stay. The building was extraordinarily refurbished, and will be especially appreciated by those who like the character and spaciousness of historic homes. The pool was a lovely place to spend the afternoon, especially watching the sunset over the valley while having some wine and cheese. We enjoyed the large and delicious breakfast, too. We'll definitely come back.
