Beautiful location with comfy clean rooms
Pros:

Rooms clean and had everything needed for short stay . Lovely location very quiet and beautiful surroundings

Cons:

Whilst the food was really lovely and freshly cooked would be better if we’re told it would be 40/45 mins coming .
Wasn’t an issue for us but other guests left before it came due to how long it took

Would we stay again...yes!
Pros:

We love he boutiqueness of the hotel, it's always clean, the staff are always pleasant and willing to help.
The views are stunning and the food is always excellent.
Where it's situated makes you feel you're in the heart of the countryside and not just off the A38!

Cons:

We stayed in the Lutton Room, I found where the dressing table was situated under the TV to be very awkward you struggled to fit the chair in as the foot of the bed was in the way. The mirror was on the other side of the room above the radiator and small, I think a re-look at the room layout would benefit it from being less awkward particularly for us ladies! It was rather a dark room as it faced into a courtyard.

The bathroom is very spacious, the main thing again for me is convenience to place wash bags so maybe look at putting some shelves in there?
None of this will deter us from coming back when we visit again.

Beautiful Hotel Worth a Visit
Pros:

Staff were very friendly and attentive. Rooms are beautiful. Food in the evening was very good.

Cons:

I would just comment that when you buy a sandwich (at lunchtime) the expectation is that there will be proper bread rather than pre sliced, particularly if you are paying £10. However the sandwich was very fresh and tasty.

Great location. Amazing food. All staff were very attentive & I would return to stay again.
Pros:

The location was perfect for us which is what drove our decision to stay there. The hotel is boutique and has everything you need and the room we had was perfect for our stay and dog friendly.
The front of house and serving team were amazing especially Emily. Nothing was too much trouble for any of them.
Phil the chef delivered an amazing breakfast but also the most delicious evening meal. I would highly recommend eating here. And there was an EV charger for the car.

Nothing, for us this was a perfect stay.

Built by Brunel apparently. The Suites/Rooms were spacious, comfortable. Clean private & quiet. There was no disturbance or noise from the room adjacent to the Cornflower Suite.

Wonderful place near the zoo on the edge of Dartmoor.

Very pleasant and no hassels
Pros:

Everything went well. Very good bed (super king). New bathroom. Breakfast was good. The staff were very helpful. Parking was good. Views from dining room very nice. I will go back if I’m in the area again.

A wonderful, relaxing stay
Pros:

We arrived at Welbeck Manor in the pouring rain! It was actually our 42nd Wedding Anniversary. On the day we got married the weather had been beautiful! We were greeted by Emily and Mac(k), who were wonderful hosts, while they were folding serviettes in a Christmas style! Emily told us about the history of Welbeck Manor which was quite interesting. It would be a good idea to produce a booklet telling others about this information. We had a lovely, relaxing stay in a beautiful room and would like to revisit to attend one of the events in the future.

Everything was perfect but the weather could have been better!

Was good and clean and warm but shower door did not open!
