Everything went well. Very good bed (super king). New bathroom. Breakfast was good. The staff were very helpful. Parking was good. Views from dining room very nice. I will go back if I’m in the area again.

We arrived at Welbeck Manor in the pouring rain! It was actually our 42nd Wedding Anniversary. On the day we got married the weather had been beautiful! We were greeted by Emily and Mac(k), who were wonderful hosts, while they were folding serviettes in a Christmas style! Emily told us about the history of Welbeck Manor which was quite interesting. It would be a good idea to produce a booklet telling others about this information. We had a lovely, relaxing stay in a beautiful room and would like to revisit to attend one of the events in the future.
Everything was perfect but the weather could have been better!

Bedroom and ensuite bathroom spacious and well appointed. Staff very helpful and friendly. Lots of choice for breakfast.

Slightly odd that no staff on duty at night but we were given an emergency number should anything happen.
Room was of a good size. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom facilities were clean and fully functional. All the staff were welcoming and friendly. The property has some pet friendly rooms which we had booked and there are plenty of areas at the property where you can walk and exercise your dog. We had a full English breakfast the following morning which was of good quality, very tasty and of ample quantity.

We’ve just come back from another stay at Welbeck and honestly, it never misses. We go as often as we can because it’s one of those rare places that feels like slipping back into a favourite jumper — familiar, gorgeous, and impossibly relaxing. The food exceeded all expectations- every mouthful is full of inane flavours and is presented beautifully with real care and attention.
The house itself is fabulous (we’re convinced it gets prettier every time), but it’s the people who make it special. The two Emilys and Luke were absolute stars — the kind of staff who make you feel like you’re being welcomed back by friends rather than checked into a hotel. Nothing was too much trouble, everything was done with a smile, and they somehow managed to make our stay even better than the last one… which we didn’t think was possible.
Already planning our next visit. Welbeck, stop being so irresistible. Mac and Fi ☺️

Beautiful historical building,staff were helpful and friendly rooms were lovely full of character beds were very comfy breakfast was great
I think the exterior of the building could be made a little more inviting including parking area and outside entrance.
The floor in the dining room needed a good sweep when we were having our breakfast it was covered in crumbs maybe a little robotic hoover
