Einladendes Stadhotel in wunderschöner Umgebung
Pros:

Sehr zentral gelegen und trotzdem ruhig, speziell die Zimmer ohne Seesicht. Der Frühstücksraum ist genial: Blick auf die alte Schiffslände im Jugendstil und dahinter der Lago Maggiore und die Berge.

Our room had an excellent view of the property, decent air conditioning and modern furnishings and fixtures. The retro style entrance to the property, door keys, lift, old fashioned till on floor 5, carpeted corridors added charm and nostalgia.

Cons:

The mini bar fridge was not checked properly before we checked in as it still had some left over ham and juice from the previous guests.

Ein großes Plus war für uns der kostenlose Parkplatz. Damit hatten wir überhaupt nicht gerechnet. Gerade in Orten am See oder in touristischen Regionen ist Parken oft ein großes Problem – viele Hotels bieten gar keine Parkplätze an oder überlassen das komplett den Gästen. Hier wurden wir beim Check-in sofort gefragt, ob wir mit dem Auto da sind, und bekamen direkt den Weg zum hoteleigenen Parkplatz erklärt. Er liegt zwar etwa 10 Gehminuten entfernt, aber das hat uns überhaupt nicht gestört. Das Auto stand sicher, wir mussten uns während des gesamten Aufenthalts keine Gedanken mehr um die Parkplatzsuche machen – und das Ganze sogar kostenlos. Das hat uns wirklich positiv überrascht.

Pros:

The service and hospitality were exceptional, always delivered with a smile, genuine kindness, and a sincere desire to provide guests with everything they need. The staff were truly wonderful.
The hotel itself is ideally located in the heart of the town, close to everything and directly opposite the lake. It is quiet, spotlessly clean, and of a very high standard. The room was spacious, and the bathroom was modern.
We had a wonderful experience.
