Die Website ließ mehr erwarten als dann vorgefunden wurde.
Pros:

Gutes, vielfältiges Frühstück, großes, gut ausgestattetes Zimmer und Bad, freundliches Frühstückspersonal

Cons:

Wurst und Käse jedoch nicht abgedeckt und Kaffeemaschine am ersten Tag kaputt, also nur Filterkaffee, Wasserdruck der Dusche recht gering. Ausblick aus dem Zimmer auf hässliches Dach, Wellnesseinrichtungen nicht verfügbar, unfreundliches Personal beim Empfang, recht ungepflegte Außenanlage

angenehm, sehr freundliches Personal
Pros:

Sauna und Spa war nicht zugänglich, Pool nicht da

Cons:

Zugang zum Parkplatz ist zu weit
Essenportionen zu groß, etwas kleinere Portionen würden reichen, dafür dann etwas preiwerter ,.dann könnte man auch ein Dessert genießen

Sehr gutes Frühstück, sehr schöne Lage am Waldrand.

Cons:

Das Bad war sehr oberflächlich geputzt, was auf unsere Bitte allerdings direkt nachgebessert wurde.
Bei der Reinigung wurde unser Zimmer, nachdem wir morgens um 9:30 h noch nicht fertig waren, an dem Tag nicht mehr gereinigt. Wiederum beschweren? Das macht doch auch schlechte Laune…

Fijn hotel in een mooie omgeving!
Pros:

Een fijn hotel. We hadden een ruime kamer op de begane grond met uitzicht op een binnenplaatsje. Bedden waren prima en het was er lekker rustig. Ruime badkamer.
Personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam
We hebben lekker gegeten in het restaurant. Mooie omgeving en Bad Essen is een leuk dorpje om doorheen te wandelen.
Genoeg parkeerplaatsen achter het hotel.

Cons:

Er stonden een paar niet comfortabele stoelen in de kamer, de kamer was beetje sober aangekleed.

A perfect stay!
Pros:

A lovely find, this hotel suited all of our group and we enjoyed the additional facilities at the restaurant and spa.
Fabian was an excellent host and looked after us throughout our stay, on hand whenever we needed something.
The hotel is calm and peaceful with an eclectic, fuss free vibe.
We had a great stay and would highly recommend!

Very lovely, quiet, tranquil stay - Highly recomended
Pros:

Lovely hotel!, fantastic staff that are very helpful. Large rooms that are very clean and homely, comfortable beds, great shower. Location is lovely surrounded by forests and a 10min walk from town. Silence at night, quick WIFI (no phone signal), fridge with cold drinks in reception, great restaurant with vegan options on site. TBH pretty perfect.

Cons:

Restaurant is closed on a Wednesday, Spa next door (my main reason for choosing this hotel) closed on a Monday, Ladies only on a Tuesday. I finally went on Wednesday and was the only one there (so understand the closed days), outside pool was cold (for me anyway) and no hot tub so just various steam rooms, very nice, very clean, very lovely but no one around. I spent an hour there, then went for dinner and returned at 8:40 when it closes at 10pm but they had turned everything off as there was no one there. So lovely and not the hotel or spa's fault but its quiet...

Pros:

Everything was perfect for us. A bigger room than normal for the price. Everything renovated and modernised. Friendly staff. Great breakfast. Special location in the woods. A really nice dinner. Lots of outdoor spaces for eating and drinking (except it was raining for us)

Real nice stay in a great atmosphere!
Pros:

My second stay in this hotel was again really nice, I especially liked the atmosphere of the building, the comfortable rooms and the breakfast buffet.

It was a super experience
Pros:

The hotel was so beautiful, it is like entering a place that is furnished and decorated with a warm personal touch and love for the house.
The manager Fabian was always present and helpfull, also our dog was more than welcome
