The room and bathroom were dirty. Cobwebs left on the window.hair on toilet seat and shower. toilet was dusty with dirt marks
N/a
Way too hot in room, had to stand on bed to get to the windows to open them, no thermostat to turn down, it was so unhealthy. Bed was very hard.
Breakfast consisted of a couple of choices of cereal, only one choice of milk, and no idea which milk it was because it wasn't labelled, toast, and bacon, sausage etc, we waited and waited for eggs (only fried in alot of oil) but every time they were brought out, workmen were taking three or four each!!
There was only cereal or toast for vegetarians, no yoghurt or fruit and had to eat our cereal with a teaspoon, very poor overall.v
Judging by the large number of cobwebs in the room and dining area the spiders love the place.
Tatty room. Pillow was something a reject from the Ikea student rage. Room was dated. Carpet filthy. Paint peeling off the walls.
The food was good and the room was comfortable
Nothing
Room was adequate and met our needs, breakfast was good
We thought of having dinner in the restaurant but on the night we were thee it seemed very quiet and lacking in atmosphere
Nothing
It is not worth the money paid. It should be cheaper.
Poor staff etiquette and very poor aesthetics.
There was no reception so I waited for about 30 minutes at the bar for the manager who was the only staff selling and serving beer to finish up and help me check in. The waiting time was unbearable as it was very busy with a crowd of people smoking and drinking on the ground floor bar. The rugs were old and dirty with outdated furniture.
Only one staff on the night shift.
Location
Breakfast was cold bed was uncomfortable
We liked the location. Close to racecourse and local shopping.
Rooms are a little tired and need some matinenace and TLC. Plates were dirty at breakfast
The room was great clean and had good
Equipment (kettle/tv/hairdryer/fan)
The contradiction between staff about fire alarm testing.
The restaurant was not brilliant.
Good location, very friendly and polite staff with very good food and drinks at a reasonable cost
Could not control room temperature, it was to hot.
Very clean and tidy, central location to what we were looking for. Staff couldn’t do enough for us.
Nothing I didn’t like
When I stayed last time, I had a lovely room, but it smelt very damp so I was pleasantly surprised when the room I had this time, although smaller, was lovely and just what I needed. Staff are always so lovely.
Location was ideally suited for my needs, the fact it had a Toby Carvery wss useful saved me having to look for somewhere to eat. There was ample parking available.
The decor was a bit dated but reasonable.
