We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay in Frutillar.
Pros:

A lovely old property with beautiful wooden floors, period furniture, large rooms and a stunning view over the lake. Very conveniently positioned, within easy walking distance to restaurants, beach and other attractions.

Great heritage hotel in Frutillar full of charm.
Pros:

We loved our double king room at the rear of the hotel as we had a huge bed each with a side view of the little back garden. There's car parking on site so you don't have to pay the local 'Simple' street parking fee. The hotel's decor is very sympathetic to its heritage. The hotel is right across the street from the theatre where we had booked to see a performance of a well known Chilean artist. After the show had finished around 10pm, local nearby bars were open for a drink and a bite to eat and it was a short 50m walk to the hotel.

Cons:

Needless to say we didn't have a view of Osorno but you can just go to the lounge area and stare at it from a nice comfy sofa. They have a late night concierge service.
