Island Luxury Boutique Hotel - Fulhadhoo

Passé ces 3 premières minutes, première gorgée de noix de coco à peine avalée, qu'on débarque déjà avec le terminal de paiement, et une note qui nous semble beaucoup plus élevée que ce qui était annoncé sur Booking!! Nous avons finalement dû débourser environ 100€ de plus pour 2 nuits. Faites donc attention en réservant.

L'eau de la douche était froide, odeur de renfermé dans la chambre, pas très clean (poubelle rouillée), tache sur le WC,...

Rapport qualité prix plutôt mauvais. Nous avons séjourné dans un autre logement de l'île, clairement il n'y a pas photo entre les deux (aller voir ailleurs)

Leider haben uns so einige Dinge nicht gefallen. Es fing leider bereits mit dem vorherigen Kontakt an. Ich habe vor Anreise bereits mit vier!!! unterschiedlichen Personen geschrieben. Was mich sehr verunsichert hatte. Leider wurden wir und auch die anderen Gäste einfach nur abgerechnet und das war’s. Keine Einweisung in die Insel. Keine Vorstellung. Nur formlos Kontakte sowie eine Preisliste der Aktivitäten zugeschickt bekommen über WhatsApp. Wir wussten nicht wo wir vernünftig essen konnten oder was es schönes auf der Insel zu sehen gibt. Auch nicht, wo sich die schönen Strände befinden. Leider war fast am gesamten Tag keiner an der Rezeption.
Auf Empfehlung für das Abendessen das dazugehörige Restaurant zu besuchen, beschlossen wir dieses auszuprobieren und sie hatten nicht mal Pommes da. 😕 Das Essen hat leider Gottes wirklich schlecht geschmeckt. Mein Sandwich war staubtrocken.
Als dann Abends endlich mal jemand an der Rezeption saß, guckte die Dame so laut Videos, dass wir sie darum bitten mussten es zu unterlassen, da es so stark in unser Zimmer schallte. Zum Frühstück wurde an unsere Tür geklopft , damit wir zum Frühstück kommen… was wir als sehr unhöflich empfanden. Leider ist die Insel absolut leer und verlassen. Wirkt fast wie eine Geisterstadt. Überall Müll und Baustellen. Bis zum Strand sind es zu Fuß knapp 20 Minuten. Wenn man wirklich absolute Ruhe haben will dann ist das das richtige.
Aktivitäten werden zwar angeboten, jedoch zu enorm hohen Preisen. Nur zum Vergleich, auf unserer vorherigen Insel haben wir die Hälfte dafür bezahlt. Genauso auch das Essen in den Restaurants. Es werden irgendwelche Gebühren erfunden um die Preise zu erhöhen. (Ich spreche nicht von dem Restaurant des Hotels)
Als wir nach zwei Tagen den Wunsch geäußert haben, dass wir uns unwohl fühlen, kam nicht mal eine Rückfrage des Hotels, was denn der Grund dafür sei? Unsere Abreise wurde einfach so hingenommen und natürlich haben wir auch kein Geld zurück bekommen.

Wirklich nichts!!

I really wanted to give this hotel the highest mark, but there was one thing that stopped me from doing so:
When every day at random times some Neanderthal smokes two metres from my door:
- I can't enjoy the pool.
- I can't sit and relax on the swing bench next to my door.
- When getting in and out of my room, I need to rush and
How hard was it, instead of allowing smoking on the grounds of the hotel, to put a bench in the garden in the front where the smokers could enjoy their vice without causing so much discomfort to the normal people?

Main problem, it is positioned as luxury hotel with price tag two three times higher than other hotels on the island but hotel actually not that high class.
During high season and our stay only one or two rooms were busy. It might be good if you want privacy, but downside is that restaurant was only working for breakfast and pre-order.
There is nothing happening.

They don’t have own beach. There is sea across the palm park, but it is not bikini and not exactly beach to swim.
There was power outage due to some powerplant service for couple hours, but they did not have own generator (which is not a big problem but something that must be for high class hotel).

We had “garden” view room, but it was literally a wall, with micro yard. With almost nobody in the hotel, they could easily offer us pool view rooms (we stayed only 2 nights and 2 pool rooms were vacant during this time, so it was very unlikely they could miss a guest)

Food. It was good but the portion is super small ( an example, 30 euro for a sea platter and everything was counted: there were one shrimp, one ring squid etc. I wouldn't even paid 10 euros for that. Or at breakfast there was not even a mango, just half).
We requested multiple times bigger portions, but nothing. Also for the breakfast take away, we wrote a list of things and, when we opened, we found half of what requested.
