Calm
Pros:

Great room, lovely lady who runs the hotel, amazing place with a nice view. So calm, so, a great place for us to relax. The only sounds you hear are the crickets outside. Nice villages and activities nearby.

Pros:

The property is just 10min away from Baden Baden, conveniently located for anyone commuting with the car.

Cons:

The bathroom was separated from the room in my case, but this was notified in advance.

Exceptional hotel & hosts
Pros:

Such a nice place. We wish we had stayed here the entire week. The owners/hosts were helpful and kind, and it was a quiet spot. The breakfast was top notch - fresh homemade bread & preserves, farm fresh eggs, etc - all was prepared with care. The Hotel is right by biking/hiking trails with access to many more. Close to drive to Baden-Baden or peddle into town on the trail.

Very friendly hosts made our stay a real pleasure
Pros:

The hosts were super friendly and helpful and pointed us to a local outdoor swimming pool (which was lovely after the heat of the day) and booked us into a wonderful restaurant at a castle overlooking gernsbach. The room was a good size and the bed comfortable. The checkin was easy and overall we had a lovely stay.

Cons:

You do need to drive from the b&b to get to facilities. Also, while the location is secluded up in the woods, it is pretty close to the road which made it a bit noisy with the windows open.
