Please note much of the castle is still privately owned. Unfortunately not all facilities are accessible to the public.

The Michelin-star Werners restaurant is open between 18:30 and 22:00 from Wednesdays to Sundays. On Sundays it is also open between 12:30 and 14:00.

Please note that between January and March each year, the restaurant is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Breakfast is available every morning, but no other meals are available.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation.
A deposit may be required at the property.

De kamer was ruim en er was airco, het was bloedheet dus dat was erg prettig. Prima bedden en ruime badkamer.

Cons:

De beleving van logeren in een kasteel is er niet, het geheel maakt een verlopen indruk. We vonden het weinig sfeervol. De dame bij de receptie was niet heel vriendelijk - we wilden graag in het gewone restaurant eten, maar daar was geen plek meer volgens haar. We konden alleen in het luxe restaurant eten. Met hond geen optie voor ons. Ze deed ook niet haar best om te kijken wat mogelijk was. Toen we later op het terras van het restaurant iets dronken en vroegen of we er toch niet konden eten was dat wel mogelijk. Het personeel daar was erg vriendelijk. De parkeerplaats is ruim, maar rommelig en vies (luiers, zakdoekjes). Het ontbijt is standaard.

Very nice experience!
Pros:

This castel is a beautiful place. I really loved our huge rooom. The bathroom was the indeed something you really cannot forget!! It was one of the most amazing ever seen!! We also had fresh flowers, which I loved! The staff was also very friendly and nice. They even let us park the moto inside their private parking.

Cons:

Honestly I expected something more. From the previous reviews and info I had, I thought it as a faboulos place, but it was not that spectacular! It is a bit too far from Gernsbach, you cannot walk to the city. The breakfast was normal, i expected something special. It had indeed everything, but they could do much better!! The price was a bit too high for 1 night stay and the services offered.

Prima voor overnachting met goed restaurant met terras op prachtige plek.
Pros:

Goed restaurant en goed ontbijt, comfortabele kamer

Cons:

We kregen een veel te warme kamer zonder uitzicht, na verzoek kregen we alternatieve kamer met airco, dat was uiteindelijk fijn.
Verder was er behalve het restaurant weinig te doen.

L emplacement et la propreté

Cons:

L accueil à la réception était très froid. Nous avions une chambre non climatisée. Impensable pour un 4 etoiles. Nous avons demandé un ventilateur mais ils en avaient pas. Il y avait 36 degrés.
Le pire petit déjeuner que nous avons eu. Des petits pains du Lidl et que des produits de qualité médiocre. Du jamais vu. Par contre la dame du buffet très sympathique et les jus étaient bons. Franchement à revoir pour un 4 etoiles.

Not a castle stay as presented. Not air conditioned.
Pros:

The staff were very friendly and competent

Cons:

The posting lead one to believe the guests were to stay in the castle. The rooms were a modern building and only the restaurant common area was in the castle grounds. Rooms were not air conditioned. Windows had to be open and the work area below was noisy starting at 6:30 am.

Ontbijt in buffetvorm, voldoende keuze aanwezig

Cons:

Hadden een 2 persoonskamer niet echt zo ingericht als verwacht bij de locatie. Niet echt ☆ waardig/super modern of juist kasteelachtige kamer., verder prima kamer maar hadden er meer van verwacht

טירה על ראש גבעה, מעל כרמים ירוקים, צופה לעיירה ציורית בעמק.
החדר היה גדול עם נוף מקסים וגם חדר השירותים היה מרווח ומאובזר.

Cons:

ארוחת הערב בסגנון בר-בי-קיו הוגשה על מרפסת יפיפיה, אבל האוכל לא היה לטעמם של כל חברי הקבוצה.

It was a dream come true.
Pros:

The location was spectacular. The evening and morning meals were excellent. And a very relaxed atmosphere.

Kamers zijn relatief oud wat natuurlijk wel past bij de locatie. Badkamer had een aantal defecten.
