Great stay for one night with an excellent dinner in the Ten Tables and a lovely cooked breakfast. On a busy road but once in the hotel all peace and calm. Lovely gardens and koi carp pond!

Surrey hills best kept secret
Pros:

The hotel is beautifully decorated, the room as spacious and exactly as shown in the photos ,very comfy and the view in to the beautiful garden was stunning. The garden is available to use day and night and is romantically light in the evening. The restaurant is intimate and food was delicious, atmosphere was very relaxing. All the staff were amazing and went above and beyond making you feel very spoilt. The whole experience was exquisite and a complete surprise to find such a hidden gem. Can’t recommend this place highly enough and will definitely be going back when every we feel like an escape and some pampering as it will be our go to place,It was amazing value too and would have been happy to pay at least twice as much. Superb

Definitely not as nice as we were expecting.
Pros:

Nothing

Cons:

First room we were allocated was very pokey, the carpet was stained and the furniture was uninspiring, plus there was no bath, which we especially requested. We were then allocated two other rooms, ending in a king bedded top range room, which was adequate.

Highly recommend this little getaway, definitely worth eating in at their restaurant, restorative in every way.
Pros:

A sweet, welcoming place which had so many nice little touches - great shower & bath products, a very inviting room across from the restaurant with an honour bar that offered excellent selections, and a really fine restaurant.

Room very different from the online pictures
Pros:

Not as advertised - We stayed in room 8. The bed was quite small and uncomfortable, and the room itself was hot. The complimentary water was placed right next to the radiator, making it uncomfortably warm.

There were stains on the ceiling around the lamp, one of which appeared to be blood. The toilet seat was partially broken, a floor tile was loose, and there was mould in the bottom corner of the bathroom window.

Disappointing - overall, our stay was uncomfortable and the room showed signs of poor maintenance

Lovely garden view

There were stains on the ceiling around the lamp, one of which looked like crusty and bloody. The toilet seat was partially broken, a floor tile was loose, and there was mould in the bottom corner of the bathroom window.

Ok but don’t expect too much
Pros:

Service is good and the bar staff are lovely, as well. We didn’t have dinner there, but I have heard good reviews about the food. The rooms are a bit tired and beds are EXTREMELY uncomfortable. To add to that, it was super noisy until midnight so the sleep was totally ruined.

Tasteful boutique hotel with welcoming and friendly staff
Pros:

The hotel is tastefully decorated throughout with a cosy and welcoming ambience that makes you feel relaxed the minute you get through the door. The gardens are beautiful and the honesty bar is a nice touch.

The staff were extremely helpful and attentive without being overbearing. We stayed here for Valentines day and booked the deluxe room with the four poster bed. It's a lovely spacious room and is exactly as the photos depict. The bed was supremely comfortable. Everything was spotlessly clean. We couldn't ask for more. Highly recommended.
