Will stay again
Pros:

Friendly staff. Good sized room with good facilities.

Cons:

Noisy on street late into the night and early in the morning. Had to have windows open due to temperature.
Slightly awkward shower over slippery bath

Great
Pros:

Nice room, great spot in the centre of town and friendly staff.

Cons:

The shower was a problem. Rain Head shower and very hot water in a very slippery shower stall is a recipe for disaster. Ended up having to use the hand held shower over the bath which was not ideal.

Great staff but not a good place for elderly people.
Pros:

The staff was very helpful. It’s very atmospheric old old Tudor building.

Cons:

Pretty tired building which is a confusing maze of hallways. Ugly windows hardly open. No elevator.

Pros:

Good room, great location, reception staff were lovely and ever so helpful when we couldn't get connected to internet. They searched for a shower cap for our room but no joy. Having said this, they brought me a pair of disposable slippers as a consolation prize🙂

Cons:

No shower cap's in room, so, due to fixed shower head, we had to have a bath instead of a shower. Staff didn't know where disabled parking spots were in close proximity to the hotel but we found them and informed the hotel for future reference. They were very grateful. We had a lovely stay, regardless and would return again to stay there.

Pros:

Staff as always were very nice and helpful.
Location is the best in Guildford, in the middle of the High street, close to main Restaurants and Shopping.
Size of Rooms

Cons:

A full-time porter is badly needed to help with luggage, especially since the hotel has many stairs and no elevator.
The property lacks proper air conditioning. Relying only on fans makes the rooms uncomfortably hot during the summer season.
