Except for the location & breakfast, nothing else about this hotel warrants the kind of hefty daily rate they charged.
Cleanliness, shower, international use friendly electrical outlets. Overall, the property needs up keeping to justify the hefty daily rate they charge.

Ganga Lahiri location is excellent. Only car parking is a bit further & you have to walk a bit to go to the hotel. Once you call the hotel, they will send boys to bring your luggage to the hotel.
Our welcome was done in traditional Indian way.
River Ganga is right in front of the hotel.
Ganga Aarti is 2 mins walk from the hotel.
Hotel Pundit will take you for evening Ganga Aarti.
Excellent breakfast that is included.
Live music during dinner. Perfect ambience.
Worth every penny spent. Highly recommended.
Cars cannot go upto the hotel. But that is so for all hotels there.

My stay was wonderful. The place is truly special. The check-in and check-out were performed with a traditional ritual, which made the experience even more memorable. The staff were exceptionally polite and always ready to help with anything. I am very satisfied and highly recommend this hotel.
I was especially pleased with the excursion services arranged by Mr. Amit Bajaj. He provided an outstanding experience of the Ganga Aarti and the temple tour, making every moment meaningful and spiritually uplifting. You can confidently rely on his services to make your stay even more enriching.

The washroom fittings needs to be replaced
Delicious food, great service, perfect location, close to parking.
Although location is close to the main area, you have to walk from the car to the hotel since it’s about 500m through a market and over the Ganges. Restaurant entertainment was absolutely captivating. Rooms were comfortable and spacious. Stayed here previously as well.
When you check in you are treated like royalty, when you check out you are ignored and don’t even get a bottle of water for the onward trip.

The most disappointing part was no stop over for cars near to hotel entrance if person travels with luggages and they did not mention this in their specifications. It causes lots of inconvenience for any elderly person to go there with luggages as no stop over near to hotel. The hotel has facilities to send the porter to car park which is 300m walking distance but guests have to either walk to hotel or hired their own e-riksha.
The down side of the hotel is, they don’t inform you all this until you pass the free cancellation on booking.com. It’s not easy to understand the mapping and location online especially if you are not aware of the area.
Prices are too high incomapre to other places.
On the first day arrival, the hotel staff did not explain very well the facilities which end up my parents having dinner down the stairs, but actual dinner facilities were upstairs. Which was very disappointing.
