Pros:

Very comfortable bed and good shower.Gary put the heating on at 630am for me so the bathroom warmed up for my early shower, this was much appreciated

Friendly and comfortable with a good pub restaurant.
Pros:

We prefer small hotels/guest houses in rural locations so The Masons Arms was ideal for our travel in the Ripon area. Our room was nicely decorated and spotlessly clean, with a comfortable bed. We liked the large walk-in shower. We had all the amenities we needed.
We were made very welcome on arrival and had friendly service throughout. Dinner in the pub/restaurant was excellent. Breakfast is a muffin and fruit in the room, which was perfect for us as we wanted a quick departure.
There is a large car park at the rear of the pub.

Cons:

The only negative was a noisy "toilet pump" in the next room that woke us from an otherwise deep sleep.

Great place to stay in beautiful village close to York, Ripon, Harrogate and Leeds
Pros:

Rented three of the rooms above the pub and all were comfortable, well presented and homely. The flat was much larger than expected.

Beautiful surroundings to walk your dog.
Near to Knaresborough, Ripon and Masham.
Good clean accommodation in a public house that serves delicious food.

Cons:

The opening times and days the pub was closed altogether.

Gary was the nicest host and runs the place to perfection; accomodation was luxurious and had a great nights sleep...safe parking and also really nice village so will return again when up North as well as highly recommend to friends and family...don't hesitate to book this gem

Lovely rooms above the pub. We had booked alongside friends and had a lovely meal in the pub on one
Pros:

Comfortable large well appointed room

Cons:

Room next door had a macerator toilet that was quite noisy. Would be an idea to have a mini fridge in each room for milk/yogurt etc to give a broader option of non-cooked breakfast.

Pros:

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the apartment at the Mason's Arms. The pictures do not do this any justice. It was very spacious. The kitchen is fully equipped And we cooked breakfast on the 2 days we stayed. No problems with lack of utensils as can happen in some places. Will definitely stay here again.
