Mega Frühstücksbuffet, große Zimmer sehr zentral zur Stadt sehr nettes Personal leider negativ der Zug, sonst wär nichts
Pros:

Sehr familiäres Umfeld Zimmer riesengroß mit Balkon Innenhof mit schönen Pool sauber, sehr leckeres abwechslungsreiches Frühstücksbuffet. Sehr schöne, pflanzliche Umgebung im Innenhof.

Cons:

Leider hat uns der Zugverkehr nicht gefallen zu Schienen, circa 30 m vom Haus entfernt zwar nur ein bis zwei Züge die Stunde, aber die waren schon sehr laut (Diesel Lock)

A lovely stay
Pros:

We loved our stay at Hotel Finlanka. The staff were all very welcoming, helpful and friendly. Our room was clean and comfortable with plenty of hot water. Breakfast was superb- so much choice and as much as you could eat. The location was ideal for walking to the beach, the main street, restaurants and local transport.

Pros:

Nous ne sommes restés qu’une seule nuit et tout était absolument parfait. L’accueil, le confort, la propreté, … tout était au-delà de nos attentes. Notre seul et unique regret est de ne pas être restés plus longtemps ! C’est un endroit où l’on se sent bien immédiatement, au point d’avoir envie de prolonger le séjour. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter. Merci !!

Great place and friendly staff!
Pros:

The breakfast is very good, plenty of fruit and sri lanka dishes. Staff is very friendly and helpful. They allowed us to stay in the hotel until 16:00 at no cost the check out day!!! I would 100% recommend it and repeat if I come back to hikkaduwa.

Schlechter Schlaf
Pros:

Ein sehr großes Zimmer. Das sHotel liegt im ruhigeren und schönem Bereich von Hikkaduwa. Der Besitzer war sehr bemüht und gab uns Tipps zur Weiterfahrt. Sogar unser Tuktuk wurde geputzt. Das Früstücksbuffet ist sehr abwechslungsreich.

Cons:

Der Zug fährt gefühlt durchs Zimmer, was ich zwar bei Buchung wusste. Leider fuhr er auch nachts um 3:50. Der Abfluss im Bad roch nicht gut. Einige Armaturen müssteb mal erneuert werden, da sie schon sehr vergilbt und abgenutzt sind. Das Bett knarzt und quietscht bei jeder kleinsten Bewegung sehr laut, sodass man sogar aufwacht. Die Bettdecke war kratzig.

Pros:

Tolles familiengeführtes Hotel. Sehr nette und kümmernde Besitzer und Personal. Unglaublich vielfältiges und leckeres Sri Lanka Frühstück. Wir hatten ein sehr großes Zimmer. Toll auch der Garten mit Pool.

Pros:

Bellissima struttura con piscina per i clienti. Colazione ricca e di ottima qualità. Il proprietario è molto disponibile. A pochi passi dal mare, vicino a numerosi ristoranti di diversa fascia. Camere ampie e spaziose, pulitissime.

Cons:

Struttura vicino alla ferrovia, si possono sentire i treni, che però di notte sono poco numerosi (due o tre treni a notte). Sicuramente gli aspetti positivi superano questa piccola criticità.

철도 주변에 위치하고 있어, 첫날에 기차 소리와 기차 매연으로 당황한 기억이 있었으나 곧 적응을 했음. 지리적 위치는 매우 괜찮음. 도보로 기차역 5~7분거리, 해변도 5~10분이면 됨, 주변에 맛집들도 많아 배낭 여행객에게 추천! 그리고 4박을 지냈는데 조금 불편한 부분도 있지만 손님의 편의를 위해 최선을 다하는 모습을 보여 감사했음. 아침 조식은 다양한 음식을 제공하고 매우 정성을 다해줘서 편안하고 대접을 받는 느낌으로 식사를 함, 특별히 아침 식사에 제공되는 홍차가 향긋하고 부드러웠으며 12박 13일 동안 스리랑카에서 맛 본 홍차 중 최고였음(누와라엘리야에서 그랜드 호텔에서 애프터눈 티 세트를 마시고 페드로 다원에서 제공한 홍차보다도 맛있음), 스리랑카에서 리조트와 3~5성급등 다양한 숙박 경험을 했는데 현지인의 정을 느낄 수 있는 기억에 남는 숙소임.

Cons:

스리랑카 정글(?) 속에 있는 듯한 느낌의 숙소인 만큼 벌레(모기, 개미)들이 조금 있음.
