The hotel is beautiful, featuring tasteful and elegant decor, and boasts a stunning location right on the lake. The hotel staff were extremely attentive and ensured that all our needs were met. Breakfast each day was lavish and alternated between Western-style and delicious Sri Lankan dishes.

Besonders gefallen haben uns die Einrichtung, die Lage mit dem traumhaften Ausblick auf die Lagune sowie der schöne Pool.
Uns wurden auch alle Talk Talk Fahrten problemlos organisiert, auch ein Ausflug mit Fahrer nach Galle wurde uns vermittelt. Das war top.

Sehr zu empfehlen: Zimmer sehr charmant und das Haut mit der wunderbaren Terrasse hat uns vom ersten Tag an überzeugt! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und einen tollen Start in Sri Lanka gehabt. Das Frühstück ist außerordentlich gut und der Manager organisiert alles, was man möchte. Der Platz ist etwas besonderes. Wir denken mega gerne daran zurück.

Quiet hotel with breathtaking views of the lake and garden away from the road and railway. We were the only guests there, so we had a luxury of the pool big enough not only to chill but to swim to ourselves. Personnel was very friendly and eager to help. We even spent several days without leaving the hotel at all.

The property is in a beautiful peaceful spot overlooking the estuary, no road sounds and just nature. The staff were beautiful and kind and attentive, wanting to make sure we were happy. As we were the only guests at this time (it is low season) we had the place to ourselves. The pool is an asset and lovely for an early morning swim.
Food is western style generally and nicely presented.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at 33 Lake Terrace in Hikkaduwa, and I can confidently say it’s one of the best places I've ever visited. The location is idyllic, providing a serene backdrop perfect for a romantic escape. The infrastructure is outstanding, blending comfort with nature seamlessly.

A special shoutout to Neel Chanfrasiri for the incredible culinary experience; the food was nothing short of amazing! The service team went above and beyond, ensuring that every aspect of our stay was enjoyable. I highly recommend 33 Lake Terrace for anyone looking to unwind and create unforgettable memories in Sri Lanka.

Very nice property with beautiful and confortable rooms and breathtaking views. The breakfast was delicious and healthy. We liked the feel like home atmosphere and the exceptionally friendly staff. I highly recommend this hotel without any hesitation.

The first and obvious thing to say about this hotel is that the view from the bedrooms and the public areas is utterly spectacular especially the top floor. Literally breathtaking. The staff was very pleasant and did their very best to make us comfortable – we were only there for one day but would’ve loved more. Definitely stay there if you are in the area.

For us 33 Lake Terrace was the nicest hotel we stayed at during our time in Sri Lanka. The hotel is beautifully designed, the location at the lake is so peaceful and beautiful - simply amazing. On top of this Mr Panduka and the entire staff were exceptional, very discreet but always available and just very nice. The breakfast was very good but the dinner was just amazing, both the food and the atmosphere. While the location is a bit remote (15-20min walk into town) we enjoyed the uniqueness of the hotel as well as the marvelous views of the lake - highly recommended!

This place is exceptional. A beautiful setting, wonderfully designed boutique hotel. Furnishings are top notch, staff are superb and excellent food.

This is a magnificent property and our experience here was the perfect end to our 3 week visit of Sri Lanka. Only a 10 minute drive out of town yet the location is such that you feel a world away - completely surrounded by nature; the forest, the lake, the gardens, so many birds, giant bees, shy leaf monkeys (only one sighting!) we even spotted a huge lizard swimming past in the lake. The rooms are generous in size and perfectly appointed. While everything about the villa is just perfect, the standout for us was our host. Generous with his time and knowledge, discreet but available for any request or question. So many wonderful conversations covering a very broad range of topics! Panduka you made our stay so much more memorable - we thank you.
