Owner was extremely helpful especially with his advise as to get home with Qatar , go to office in Colombo which we did
Pros:

Everything, had front seaside room was lovely .spent many hours watching the surfers.while we tried in vain to rebook flights.
Close to nice little store to buy bits and ice and near wine shop. Good laundry near.
Meals in their restaurant were very good
Was absolutely perfect aspect.

Pros:

Great location, loved the view, it was beautiful waking up to the ocean. Staff friendly and very chilled. Bathroom was so good, strong shower, very big. AC was great, lighting on balcony great. Beds very comfortable. 100% would stay again.

Pros:

The room was clean and tidy. The location is perfect. The room is actually better than shown in the pictures. The Owner is helpful. The best part was the ocean view right outside our room. Good value for money.

Pros:

Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und ordentlich. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet. Der Besitzer und seine Sohn , und das Personal waren immer sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Service war super. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt dort sogar verlängert weil es uns so gut gefallen hat. Der Besitzer hat uns sogar bei unserer Planung für die Weiterreise auf Sri Lanka geholfen und uns gute Tipps gegeben. Und er hat uns sogar selbst mit seinem TUKTUK zum Busbahnhof gefahren ,dass wir problemlos mit dem Bus weiter reisen konnten. Vielen Dank für diesen wunderschönen Aufenthalt und für diesen super Service. Sehr empfehlenswert. Wir kommen vielleicht sogar Ende September noch einmal um dort ein paar Tage verbringen.

Wonderful stay! Balcony was perfect!
Pros:

Great room facing the ocean, perfect location in town but not in the middle of town so its quiet enough. Lovely walks along the beach.

Cons:

When requesting to pay by card the owner looked very disgruntled to do this, the ATM was quite a walk away at 11pm.

A very good stay and will be visiting again
Pros:

I really liked them a lot rooms the beds were very comfy and the bathroom was a nice size. The staff at the main reef guest house were very good they always asked me if i needed anything, and were very helpful

Превосходно! Мы взяли с видом на океан, проводили каждую свободную минуту на балконе, невероятная сила и запах океана, (дома сплю в берушах) здесь же с открытым окном. Фотографии не соответствуют, все в разы лучше, до последнего спорили с мужем, в выборе отеля, ориентировалась на отзывы. Как зашла в номер не поверила, «это что, наш номер, да ладно» вышла на балкон и поняла, это 100 %попадание, лучше чем ожидали!
Хозяева, очень внимательные люди все подскажут, здесь же на берегу их кафе, очень вкусно готовят, порции большие, а главное океан в пяти шагах. До пляжа с черепахами 400 метров по берегу. Я даже не буду рассматривать другие варианты, а вернусь именно сюда)

Best value and view in Hikkadua
Pros:

Excellent value for money,by far the cleanest place I stayed in on my month in Sr Lanka.If you can,get one of the 2 sea facing rooms with balcony then do so😁😁Food was great and the management were extremely good people.Very well appointed room with grt views,hot water,very comfy bed and a fridge,all for $35 a night.

Cons:

Restaurant really needs some fans,it could get really hot.
