The workers coming to clean the pool about 9 am when my husband was in the pool. He had to getbout of the pool so the worker could clean. Sign says pool hours 8 am to 8 pm. Ijs

Been here for 10days spent the last 5days fighting swarms of palmetto bugs crawling across me and waking me up as I sleep ... Called the office to get something done about this shit... It's been another 3days and NOTHING has happened besides the night office guy handing me a bottle of bug spray (after I walked a block to the office cuz I was AGAIN woken up by the critter running across me!!! This is BULLSHIT!!! This place is called Hollywood Beach Hotels located at 1915 N Ocean Dr Hollywood, FL. BEWARE!!!

Felt very uncomfortable with someone entering the room while I was bathing.
Pros:

Location is close to beach which was nice. Breakfast was an interesting set up.

Cons:

I didn't like when I was in the shower and some one entered my room and left the door open!!! I was also told by hotel staff that it wasn't house keeping because house keeping hadn't even arrived yet!

Liked the location however, will never book there again.

Not a lot

Cons:

No housekeeping, no closet in the room. Had a coffee make, but no coffee. I brought my own. No silverware, or plates or glasses.
This hotel is a dump. Never going back. One check in counter for numerous hotels in the area. Took a half hour to check in.

Worst hotel ever. Go somewhere else!

The Location, and the bed was nice (too bad the bed was in a horrible setting, though). Parking is convenient (but cost $18)

Cons:

I’ve never ever stayed in such a horrible hotel. I think even jail is nicer. The room is outdated, dirty, looks horrible, old furniture, cold ambiance, not a lot of windows you can look through, the airco is super super loud, checking in is horrible as I already read (waaaaay too busy and people not nice), there is no daily housekeeping (once in 3 days), the pool looked dirty, stains all over the floor… I can continue on and on but it is just NOT worth the money. Even half price would be too much. Please, chose another location even if you have to pay a little more. Time for a big renovation, or a price revisit for this place.

Cons:

The room were depriving no windows that you can rise shades. Smells mold covered with the smell of bleach. Not appropriate for tourist stay. Cracked floor and door that does not open easily .the location was nice. Does not justify the price of the room

Nice, clean, safe stay for a solo traveler.
Pros:

Close to the beach and broadwalk. Pool was nice and everything was clean.

Cons:

Breakfast only lasts 1 hour and had a long line. Housekeeping only comes every 3 days. Wish they had a free little library and free beach chairs & umbrellas.
