Looking forward to returning a little later in the season
Pros:

Fabulous location, early check in extremely welcome after the boat trip. Very helpful and informative manager

Cons:

Wish we had been able to choose a sea view, our brick wall wasn’t quite the same ! When booking we hadn’t realised that the hotel was still ‘out of season’ so no bar or restaurant facilities, however delicious continental breakfast.

The location was great and the staff were really friendly and helpful

Cons:

The room was disappointing, the window felt like people could see in so had to keep curtains closed. The water in the shower wasn't consistent, kept going hot then cold. And we had many steps to climb to get to our room which wasn't great as I am waiting for a knee op. We were there in 2005 and I think it was better then . Sorry to be so negative but you did ask

Gorgeous start to our holiday on the Isles of Scilly
Pros:

Great toiletries, easy to use shower and beautiful views.

The fridge was right next to the bed and did disturb our sleep at night

Lovely hotel in a great location for visiting the Scilly Isles
Pros:

All the staff were friendly, helpful and professional. The room and public areas were very comfortable and dog friendly.
Menu choices were substantial and food delicious, well presented and cooked.

Cons:

There are a lot of stairs to many of the bedrooms so you need to be quite mobile to reach some of the upper floor rooms as there is no lift

We had a fantastic time in the Isles of Scilly and Tregarthen's was the perfect base
Pros:

Hotel positioned at the end of the quay... easy walk from the ferry... 1 minute to Hugh Town shops/pubs.
Great terrace to sit with a beer looking out to sea and across to Tresco and Bryher.
Good 'full Cornish' breakfast.
Luggage delivered to the ferry on departure.
Staff were great!

Cons:

Very little to criticize.
There were a lot of steps to the room... OK for our party but could be a challenge for those less mobile.
