Pros:

Sea view room was lovely. Lounge and dining room nicely furnished and decorated.

Cons:

Lots of steps to the room which I don't recall being made aware of.
Evening meal experience for the quality of the dish that I chose.

nicht noch einmal im Tregarthens… es gibt zum Glück Noch mehr Unterkünfte auf St. Mary

Die Lage auf St.Mary ist sehr gut

Cons:

Ein Jahr vorher buchen, 11 Monate vorher bezahlen… ca.300 € / Nacht. Man bekommt dann ein mini kleines Zimmer, nach hinten mit Blick auf eine Mauer…statt dem erhofften Seaview … Die Managerin war auch nicht besonders freundlich

Excellent stay overall
Pros:

Refreshments well stocked and refilled everyday. Location very good. Greeting at reception very good and helpful. Carried heavy bags when no lifts. View from veranda was stunning bar facilities good but wine by the bottle a little pricey.

Cons:

One of ours party’s toilet was loud and stained. Could do with being replaced.

Big disappointment at the lack of luxury for a very high end cost per night, not vale for money

Cons:

Room was very small, no wardrobe, shelves or drawers to unpack into. No space for cases. Window was broken and very noisy because of wind that side. Toilet did not flush, leak in sink outflow pipe.

Looking forward to returning a little later in the season

Fabulous location, early check in extremely welcome after the boat trip. Very helpful and informative manager

Cons:

Wish we had been able to choose a sea view, our brick wall wasn’t quite the same ! When booking we hadn’t realised that the hotel was still ‘out of season’ so no bar or restaurant facilities, however delicious continental breakfast.

The location was great and the staff were really friendly and helpful

Cons:

The room was disappointing, the window felt like people could see in so had to keep curtains closed. The water in the shower wasn't consistent, kept going hot then cold. And we had many steps to climb to get to our room which wasn't great as I am waiting for a knee op. We were there in 2005 and I think it was better then . Sorry to be so negative but you did ask

Gorgeous start to our holiday on the Isles of Scilly
