Great location for an easy trip to car rental and airport
Pros:

Near the airport, but still feels rural. Sheep, trees, grassy hills and pretty views. Rooms were very nice and well equipped.

Cons:

So many things, include an upcharge like use of the pool and spa. Or breakfast.

Cute place, nice food, but we had no hot water in the room.
Pros:

The food was excellent, and the pool/hot tub/sauna were nice, and included at no extra charge

Cons:

Our room had no hot water. I showered at the spa, but my daughter took a cold shower in the room. We were only staying the one night. I told the reception desk about the problem in the morning, and only received a 'sorry', but no discount on the stay. Hot water is expected at a fine hotel.

Norton House Hotel

Das altehrwürdige Gebäude, das sehr gute Essen und das wahnsinnig freundliche und hilfsbereite Personal hat mir sehr gut gefallen.

Cons:

Das Zimmer hatte keinen Ausblick (die Scheiben sind mit weißer Farbe undurchsichtig gemacht worden). Die Fenster ließen sich nur 5 cm hochschieben und wenn man durch den Spalt geguckt hat, sah man auf ein Dach und die Ablüftungsrohre der Küche (die Küchenabluft kam direkt ins Zimmer rein). Also konnten wir das Zimmer nicht lüften.
Zusätzlich gab es keinen Fön, keinen Schuhanzieher und die Schreibtischlampe funktionierte nicht.
Und das bei einem Preis von 360,00€ pro Nacht. Ganz schön enttäuschend. Der Fön und der Schuhanzieher sind - trotz Zusage - nicht am nächsten Tag ins Zimmer geliefert worden.

Amazing hotel, friendly staff and food was fab.
Pros:

The building and grounds are well kept and a lovely walk around. I actually enjoyed the planes taking off. Food was amazing and the staff were all lovely, I would highly recommend this hotel. I am local to the area and wanted some time on my own, this was a great choice for me.

Cons:

Nothing other than I couldn’t use the pool, the had a boiler issue, but the upgraded my room and also upgraded my booked massage so I was extremely happy. Thank you Lucy

Pros:

Staff were extremely friendly, made you feel very welcome. Leisure facilities were excellent, very clean and full range of facilities. The breakfast had an excellent selection and had calories noted beside each item, which I felt was a nice touch.

Mooi gelegen hotel met prachtige kamers, goed verzorgd ontbijt en heel vriendelijk personeel
Pros:

We hadden een heerlijk ontbijt met heel veel opties. Het personeel was erg vriendelijk en de locatie is prachtig. Dichtbij het vliegveld, maar het gevoel is alsof je op het platteland zit.
