Beautiful stay in the desert, very comfortable tents and very friendly staff working there! Easy access to the sand dunes for an unforgettable experience! I highly recommend 🙂
The Nomads was a fantastic place for a complete desert experience away from the city We took an air conditioned tent, which was very comfortable with a bed, private bathroom, portico and all modern facilities. The activities were amazing, the musical and the kalbelia dance performance by pape khan and troupe. Camel safari on the dunes, star gazing and night out on the dunes with abhayji. He was very welcoming and well behaved. We also went on a trip.to the desert national park and followed the rare bustards. I recommend a minimum 2 nights stay to get all the experiences. With the bustard sighting and trip to longewala, ranau, tanot mata temple not mandatory but for the enthusiasts. You can choose the activities you are interested in and depending on your budget. We even visited kuldhara, jain temple and kabha fort on the way.
Everything was excellent, i think the trips to and fro from the city could have been included in the cost or a little better managed
We booked the entire rajasthan trip on a sudden whim and this place was the highlight of our entire trip.
The staff arranged the stay at Jaisalmer along with the desert camp and they treated us really nice.
Coming to the desert camp we made a lot of new friends met some interesting group of people and had a peaceful beautiful sunset a vibrant evening program with the camel ride.
We danced and sang together after the traditional display all in all a night to remember.
The room was neat Nothing too grand but catered to all our needs
With an authentic dinner and after that a silent night under the stars was amazing.
We forgot our airpods at the camp and remembered only after reaching the town the staff at the office arranged and procured it for us all the way from the camp 40 km away.
Picked and dropped us from the railway station also.
PS. The pickup and drop and jaisalmer stay cost us extra.
My parents' stay at this hotel was absolutely wonderful! They stayed in a tent, which was simply perfect—cozy and beautifully arranged. It was an anniversary celebration for them, and Mr. Sawai took care of arranging the entire celebration. team went above and beyond to make it special. They surprised my parents with a cake and celebrated together with all the staff. The service was outstanding, and the food was exceptional—delicious with just the right portions, neither too much nor too little. They enjoyed their stay so much that they plan to come back next year and highly recommend it!
the hotel is located quite far from the city centre.
What an experience. We stayed for NYE and had a wonderful time. We were picked up from Jaisalmer and once we settled in, we went on a Camel to view sunset from the nearby dunes. After that, they had set up an incredible array of traditional Rajisthani music to ring in the new year.
Super kind and helpful staff/owners + tasty food + comfy beds + great recommendations for the rest of our trip. So good, we decided last-minute to change our plans and go back to Nomads Heaven two days later to sleep under the stars. Highly recommend.
.
Unfortunately, our expectations from the camp were not met. The accommodation is not worth the money. The bed linen was not fresh, we had to sleep in our clothes. No toilet paper. It was cold at night in early January, the heater could not cope. The food is exclusively local Indian, vegetarian and extremely spicy, including for breakfast. Despite the fact that we are not the first year in India, we could not eat it and left hungry.
On the positive side, there is a place for the driver to stop.
Excellent service from the staff
Nothing
Good facilities
Didn't like lack of flexibility on booking.com
I stayed at Nomads Heaven Desert Camp in Jaisalmer. The stay was a wonderful and neat and clean property, maintained perfectly. Staff are extremely friendly, polite, welcoming. I am considering coming back here again.
Definitely it was our one of the greatest enjoyable soothing & relaxing stay at Nomads. Would definitely recommend this property visiting Jaisalmer, rather would love if such properties are available at every tourist spot in our country.
LOCATION AND SERVICES
- Sawai Ji, and his whole team
- there's nothing that I can point out. Everything was great.
The tents were great, food was delicious and the cultural program was entertaining.
Th stargazing tour was not great because it was a full moon night.
Staff was very helpful and the activities were awesome plus the food, would recommend to visit it once and experience the night life and local Greetings
Felt like glamping, cabin in very luxurious compared to India standards and regarding the location, it was awesome ! Staff is also making sure you are having a good time. Everything is well organized
Just a suggestion to my personal taste, show was too long (around 2h30-3h) and then dinner was too late (21h)
Good place with great hospitality.
Lack of WI-FI
Breakfast was tasty local Indian cuisine. Staff were super friendly and helpful to accommodate. Rooms were very luxurious.

My partner and I had a fabulous time at nomads desert heaven camp. We stayed for one night and enjoyed a camel safari as part of our package. We arrived at the desert camp by private transfer from Jaisalmer which the hotel organised. After relaxing for a little while we made our way into the jeeps where we were taken to camels in the middle of the dunes of the thar desert. The dunes were beautiful as were the camels! Riding camels for the first time was a super interesting and fun experience. My only wish was that we'd arranged to stay for longer so we could do more! The camp arranges both 2/3 day safaris much deeper into the desert too so if I came back again I think I would do this. As part of the longer safaris you sleep our under the stars in the desert which sounds great but just didn't fit with our timings this time. We arrived back to the main camp after a great time in the desert&dunes to be welcomed by a band playing Rajasthani music. They were great and even had a very impressive dancer with them. We listened to the music as we were served dinner (which was delicious). That evening we stayed in the camp's luxury glamping tents, the beds are huge, there is a/c and even en suites with showers inside the tents. I was impressed with the quality of the accomodation. The staff were very helpful throughout and there was always someone who spoke good English to help. We had a fabulous experience and would reccomend it to any couple travelling in rajasthan.
Whole experience was great. Make sure to bring loose fitting clothes as the desert is hot !
