Pros:

The staff was very helpful to get a bus ticket and made sure we got the right bus from the right location

Cons:

A small strong smell of an air freshener in the room which was not pleasant
Too small room for our needs (my problem as we selected the cheapest room from the looks we couldn't guess right)

Great staff great location great price
Pros:

Friendly staff and it’s not on the Main Street so less noise from bikes and truck honking.

Cons:

It doesn’t have an elevator but it’s not a big deal but old people might struggle

It was good value for money
Pros:

It was in a busy area so it was good for shopping

Cons:

The breakfast was terrible , need to learn to do scramble eggs, the hot water took 5 minutes to come hot, so I wasted water before hot water can come, there is no lift

Room and bathroom was very small and suffocating. Also they don’t have elevator. The stairs were very high and difficult to climb.

Cons:

the room was quite old, construction noises hammering half of the day, annoying electrical noise originating in the kitchen ventilation, poor breakfast.... for the price you get much better options in the area. Much better

Decent, well priced and okay for 1-2 nights
Pros:

Breakfast was nice and not too expensive. We enjoyed the local vibe of the hotel and how well it was located. It made it very easy for our driver and our guide to find us and we didn't feel out of place

Cons:

The room was okay, but a bit dated. It was comfortable enough for us, though there was no cold water in the shower. We organised a transfer from the airport, but the transfer did not show (even though we waited and looked for someone holding a sign).

Pros:

Just love this place. I found it 18 years ago first under another name, but even though its revamped and I guess under new management, it is still a wonderful place to stay. Everyone is friendly and helpful and its in a quiet area but close to shops etc. Thank you to all the wonderful staff.

Staffs need to be changed
Pros:

The property is in good location

Cons:

I had a huge expectation with Durban hotel but was disappointed big time. The staffs are horrible, please fire them already, if you are in hospitality business and you don’t know the term “Service” then I suggest to change your business. Staffs are very lazy and feels like they don’t care about the guests at all. The rooms were not properly cleaned, and any request we made was either ignored or took forever to be addressed. This is not the kind of experience anyone would expect, especially from a supposedly reputable hotel. If they don’t improve their service and staff attitude, they’ll end up losing customers.

Overall good hotel to stay at and budgetfriendly, but nothing fancy.
Pros:

Location was in a quiet street in Thamel. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was okay and they made also eggs/omelette when you asked. AC was good and didn’t make a lot of noise.

Cons:

Lot of construction in next house which made a lot of noise. Rooms weren’t that soundproof so a lot of noise came from corridors.
