Ein echtes Juwel
Pros:

Die Küche ist hervorragend, das Personal überaus freundlich und alles blitzsauber. Die gelungene Mischung aus Tradition und Moderne macht das Seehotel Baumgarten zu einem ganz besonderen Ort. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Staff was very good and very friendly. If I’m ever in the area again I’ll definitely be staying here. Loved it
Pros:

We got stuck in town and I wish we’d have had more time to relax at the hotel. It’s a really nice place and so quiet

Cons:

Well the mile plus walk to the hotel was unexpected. I didn’t do my research on that. Plus having to take a ferry to get to the walk was also unexpected. But that is why the hotel is so calm and peaceful.

Wunderschöner Ort mit exzellenter Küche, herzlichem Personal und stilvollem Ambiente. Gerne wieder!

Cons:

Einzig das Bezahlen für Hahnenwasser hat mich kurz überrascht. Die Gastgeberin hat das jedoch sehr transparent und überzeugend erklärt: Es geht nicht ums Wasser, sondern um die Dienstleistung dahinter. Und das stimmt absolut.

Wunderschöner Aufenthalt mit ein paar Negativpunkten
Pros:

Lage ist wunderschön und ruhig. Essen war exzellent und Zimmer sehr schön.

Cons:

Dass für die Eierspeisen am Frühstücksbüffet noch extra bezahlt werden muss, finden wir nicht sehr kundenfreundlich. Ist uns bis jetzt noch nie passiert. Das Zimmer hat keine Air-Conditioning und keine Mückengitter. Sogar für eine Zahnbürste wurde noch CHF 6.00 verlangt und musste sofort bezahlt werden (d.h. wir mussten extra drei Treppen hoch ins Zimmer, um das Geld zu holen). Wäre alles kein Problem, wenn der allgemeine Preis nicht so hoch wäre. Deshalb stimmt für uns das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis nicht ganz.

Pros:

Sehr schönes, historisches Hotel direkt am Seeufer. Zimmer mit perfekter Aussicht über den See.
Leider Zimmerdeckenhöhe nur etwa bei 1,95m, so dass ich ständig unfreiwilligen Kontakt mit dem Feuermelder hatte.
Sehr freundliches Personal, Tiefgarage verfügbar.

Amazing stay although the single lane road to the hotel is not for the faint heartd but ore than worth it

Traditionelles und ruhiges Hotel direkt am See.
Pros:

Die Lage des Hotels direkt am See ist sehr ruhig, aber die Anreise durch eine einspurige Straße direkt zwischen Fels und See nichts für schwache Nerven. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und bemüht, aber die Jahre merkt man dem Hotel echt an. Das Essen war lecker, aber preislich über dem europäischem Standard (ist halt die CH).
Wer eine urige, traditionelle, sehr ruhige Unterkunft direkt am See sucht ist hier völlig richtig !

Cons:

Das Hotel selbst ist in die Jahre gekommen. Das Zimmer war länger nicht gelüftet und somit etwas "muffig". Das Hotel war fast leer und wir hatten eine laute Kleinkinder-Familie als Nachbarn, das hätte man besser managen können.
Der Preis ist, wie überall in der Schweiz, etwas zu hoch.

Relaxing spot
Pros:

Lovely views, great spot for dinner. Staff were really great and we loved being able to swim in the lake. Close to the boat stops for a day out too.

Cons:

Having to carry luggage up 4 flights of stairs (although to be fair the staff did offer to take them!) The room was also a little bit basic inside, and would benefit from decor that matches the beautiful view

Pros:

Hotel location was very nice, but access was difficult. Great staff. Clean. Restaurant provided a good variety of food and drinks.

Cons:

Included breakfast had limited choices. The road to the hotel was extremely narrow or single lane with a cliff on one side and Lake Lucerne on the other, all with two way traffic and pedestrians.
