Pros:

Can see the mountain Kinabalu outside the hotel.

Cons:

The toilet is very smelly. I have to wash the whole toilet thoroughly with my own Dettol hand wash to clear some of the smell. No point using the refresher to cover up the smell. The toilet door kept closing up so I have to block it with leg while I am using the basin. And there is no toilet roll hanger.

Pros:

Room was fantastic and modern, everything provided including beautiful views. The homestay owner Jusili was more helpful than you could imagine, from picking me up from the town to showing me around so I was familiar with the places I wanted to go, dropping me off and picking me up from Kinabalu Park and helping me get to my next destination, I couldn’t praise him anymore. He even refused to take my money when I tried to thank him. Wonderful stay.

老板和员工特别热情好客 住的非常愉快😀
Pros:

地理位置很好，早上天气晴朗时可以看到神山，距离奶牛场和sosodicson hill 驾车5～7分钟左右。
可以使用厨房设施，有冰箱，饮水机免费使用。

Cons:

山上温度低 晚上睡觉时提供的一条毛毯有一点冷。

Vriendelijk personeel, eigenaar gaf ons zelfs een lift. Wandelingen in de buurt, uitzicht op de berg, goede prijs-kwaliteitverhouding

Sehr schöne Lage :) allerdings nicht direkt im Ort daher ohne Auto nicht so leicht zu erreichen.
Für kleines Geld findet man aber von Kundasang aus ein Taxi.

Pros:

Die total lieben und jederzeit hilfsbereiten Menschen.
Bei der Weiterreise nach Kota Kinabalu, wurde ich nachdem in Kundasang kein Van auf dem Busparkplatz verfügbar war ,vom Besitzer persönlich nach Ranau gebracht um eine reibungslose weiterleiten zu haben.
Vielen Dank an die netten Menschen in diesem Homestay.
Übrigens hat man von dort auch eine wunderbare Aussicht auf den Kinabalu .

Not Suitable for Senior Citizen
Pros:

The new building room, the view was awesome! too bad we only manage to enjoy one day.

Cons:

We booked for Mountain View Room, but too bad the room is not senior citizen friendly, need to climb staircase, and we opted to change the room as my mother having difficulties to go up, they manage to change us to 2 queen bed room, only thing there is no any view, and again we asked them to change to the new building as that look better and good view of Mount Kinabalu, with balcony, since we are group of 3 pax, so we requested for extra bed, the owner change for us the room as requested, this is my second time staying here, the last i stay was on 2019, only problem there there is nobody at the reception area, we need to message them every time you need any help, but its ok the response was fast. they need to do something for senior citizen, as the entrance to go up, the stairs are very big with no handle to hold and walk, for youngsters its ok, for seniors not advisable.
