A very quirky ancient building (dating from 1200’s) and garden rooms in a very pretty setting. We had a garden room which had a lovely view of the garden. Also it was quiet
The bed wasn’t particularly comfortable. The shower pressure was very low.
The owner was very helpful and this is very nice property to visit.
Well situated for all the local beautiful ports etc for visiting. Tim and his staff were very friendly people and nice to talk to , fresh milk delivered to you door every morning for you cups of tea/ coffee, the garden area is lovely and well kept, car park is also a nice size for parking we had evening meals there most times of our stay as the food they offered was lovely with good local beers.
Next time in Cornwall will definitely stay again
Nothing
Beautifully appointed rooms. Very clean and great decor. The milk delivered to your room in the morning is a lovely touch. The garden was brilliant. Beautifully maintained. It’s very, very good value
Meal in the evening was ok - desert not so great but ham egg and chips lovely! - and whilst service overall was good (the owner very attentive and personable) one of the waitresses needed a touch of training.
Very cute hotel in a great location
Really good buffet breakfast and very good cooked breakfast as option
Begrüßungs Sherry auf dem Zimmer, frische Frühstücksmilch an der Tür, ausgefallene Unterkunft mit Charme
Friendly staff, a lovely quiet room overlooking the garden. Excellent bedside lighting (I read a lot!). Comfortable bed and good toiletries. The breakfast was a continental, with croissants, cereal, yogurt etc. We paid a small sum extra and got an outstanding cooked breakfast
We opted to have the pub evening meal which was very disappointing.
I would like to see decaf options, biscuits to be provided (we had travelled over 5 hours to get to Cornwall) and the kettle was in a very strange place - which could have been sorted with a short extension cable. The wifi code was in the pub - it would have been good to have this somewhere in the room.
Room was spotlessly clean and well appointed, continental breakfast was good, perhaps a little disappointing that cooked breakfast was extra. Wifi was only just able to reach some parts of the room but was fine sat in the chair by the window.
There was nothing I would say I didnt like
Lovely setting and very pleasant, rooms very nice
Beautiful location and very friendly staff. The food was amazing. The room was clean and really well furnished. Such a peaceful setting in a stunning garden. Excellent value for money. Thanks to Tim and his team. Can't wait to return! 😌
Our stay at The Crown Inn was cozy, comfy, and surpassed expectations. From a friendly welcome to one of the best Full English Breakfasts we've had, we will definitely come again. The owner, Tim, was very helpful and had arranged for taxi's to take a group if us to the Eden Sessions that were on at night. Thanks Tim and the team for a wonderful stay!
