Special place in a great location
Pros:

This place is so cool. It is a historic building with connections to the movie industry, specifically western movies. There is a lot of memorabilia displayed at the hotel, and they show classic westerns in the lobby. This place is cozy and rustic, but also clean. The hotel is in a great location, right on the main drag and very close to the mountains, hiking trails and fishing.
The coffee is great!

Cool place to stay in Lone Pine.
Pros:

The original building is quaint, charming, and quiet. Rooms are small-ish but nicely decorated, and the bed was comfortable enough. The patio is a quiet and relaxing place, and the pool and spa are nice; the former is open until midnight, as well. Walking distance from restaurants and local stores.

Cons:

The rooms in the original building don't have climate controls but this isn't usually a problem. The tv remote was kind of a hassle to operate and its batteries were worn out but that's a minor quibble.

Convenient and good value for money with a cool quirkiness of Western film history.
Pros:

Good clean room. Great value for money.

Cons:

The walls allow sounds to travel, a lot. The people next to me were watching a John Wayne film late into the night, most likely Boomers as the TV was that loud. I could hear every word.
