The location is great. You can get everywhere on foot.
Unfortunately, I had a room on the top floor and there was hardly any Wi-Fi.
Great overall experience, nice friendly stuff & rooms nice and clean.
Location and how friendly the staff were and the bottled water in the room
The plug socket was the other side of the room from the bed
Great location, walking distance from everything.
Breakfast was lovely and plenty

Nice and central. The staff were very great, helping me get my bike up to my room.
Windows don't open, felt stuffy inspite of aircon
Central, clean and friendly staff
Bed too close to the wall - personal thing
Central location, friendly and helpful staff. Nice clean showers
Aircon had broken down and room was very hot. Was helpfully offered a fan and ice bucket and also a 25% discount on room and free breakfast. But would have preferred to have been notified in advance. Stayed their during the Open Golf and hotels were busy
Very clean, nice size, good view, Great location, lovely bathroom, comfortable bed. Easy access to services. Staff were lovely and made the whole stay super easy and enjoyable.
I liked the location
I paid 610 pounds for 3 nights and thought it was a bit of a joke. I have seen online that its usually 30 pound a night which makes total sense and feel i got scammed. I am pregant and slim but cant sleep on my back due to my back being so sore with pregnancy, my boyfriend is slim 6 ft 5. With the bed against the wall it left us no room to move and was quite claustrophobic for me and I hardly slept. The room we were staying in 818 was maybe near some pipes as when we were trying to sleep there was constant dripping sounds. I also was quite scared to get in the lift at one point as I had to share it with what looked like a homeless drug addict for 8 floors. We went to watch the golf so were leaving early in a rush and coming back late, I would have complained otherwise but I was just to tired after 30 thousand steps a day being pregnant and just wanted you to go to bed. The hair dryer was really good and plenty of mirrors, i didnt really like the floor in the shower, it felt like it had loads of water underneath and had lifted. The room was very clean so I am greatful for that.
Great value for money, good central location, my standard bedroom was well appointed with nice bathroom products, a hairdryer, tea, coffee etc and a large bottle of water, very good aircon, modern bathroom with powerful shower. Quickier and more thoughtful than the other budget chains (if this is the category of this hotel).
The bed was surprisingly firm when you sat on it but turned out to be really comfortable. But may not be for everyone. Am sure I read that you can ask for a softer mattress. I only found out about the members club on departure which was useless info for this time. It entitles you to discounts and a cheese and wine platter apparently.
