Elsinore Hotel does not have a elevator and for this reason, we cannot accommodate people with walking or breathing difficulties. Furthermore, the hotel staff is happy to help with baggage if you are struggling with the stairs. We do not have or promise any facilities for disabled people. So if you struggle with stairs or you have any other breathing difficulty this will not be suitable for you.

Children and Extra Bed Policy:
One child under 12 years is charged £ 10.00 per night when using existing beds, this amount will be automatically charged from the card provided at the time of booking. A travel cot can be provided on request only.

No pets allowed (policy applies). Guide Dogs are accepted when the dog owner will provide us with a valid document that certifies that this is a Guide Dog. A copy of this certificate will be taken ( this is hotel records and it will help us prove that the dog is a guide dog in case other guests will make a complaint / some have strong pets allergies )

For a clean and friendly hotel with an excellent location and at a low cost it is great value.
Pros:

Great location and clean, tidy room. Extremely comfortable bed.

Cons:

The chair in the room was a little basic and not so relaxing after sitting on it for a while. Also the tv reception sometimes was not so good.

I didn't enjoy my stay in the hotel

Poor customer service cheap but awful
Pros:

I was kept at reception for 5mins while the reception guy was talking to contractor..then not much customer service thereafter checking in...no room for motorbike parking said on Web was......WiFi didn't reach my room... breakfast was very basic egg on toast or juice and serial.cost
included breakfast!

Hotel was closed
Pros:

We arrived but were told it was closed and we had to go to the iris hotel

Cons:

Not being told we had been moved to another hotel and a smaller room at the iris hotel but not on booking. Com or I would not have booked it !!! There were a few upset customers, it's not on and should be checked by your selves

WiFi didn't even reach 3rd floor had to use WiFi from neighbour hotel which only worked when sat on the toilet

Sankalp. The best receptionist ever.
Pros:

Receptionist Sankalp was amazing, and top notch. We had some difficulties with one of the guest on wheelchair and Sankalp went above and beyond to resolve the matter swiftly. We travelled as a large group requiring 6 bedrooms and Sankalp left no stone unturned in making sure we had the smoothest possible check in. I wish we had more receptionist like him in the UK.

Could be a lovely hotel but needs alot of repair / modernising

Cons:

In the bed room there were stains on the sheets and the wardrobe was broken the floor bords were loose and when we went for breakfast what was on offer didn't match the menu. And some of the utensils were sticky.

Cons:

My stay at the Elsinore Hotel was very disappointing due to a serious lack of running water. Having no water meant basic things such as washing, brushing teeth using the toilet proply.
The most frustrating part was the lack of support or communication from staff. When several guests went to reception with the same issue, staff appeared to leave the desk rather than speak to customers or explain what was happening. There was no clear update, apology, alternative arrangement, bottled water, or reassurance that the issue was being dealt with.
Problems can happen in any hotel, but guests should not be ignored when an essential service like water is unavailable. The way this was handled made the experience far worse, and I would not choose to stay here again. Also, do not expect a full English breakfast. Despite this being advertised, the breakfast available was very limited: scrambled egg, boiled eggs and cereal. The hotel’s website says breakfast is included and served in the morning, so the actual offering was disappointing and did not meet expectations.
