The breakfast was lovely they had everything we wanted.
The breakfast was excellent. Cooked fresh on order and piping hot when served. The staff were very friendly and polite.
The room and ensuite was very small. It would have been better as a single but it was very clean and worked for my friend and I.
The hotel is in a good position .Convenient parking at the back .A nice dining room and the breakfast was satisfactory .Pleasant staff
We stayed in the annexe.I didn’t realise we wouldn’t have a sea view.Although the separate room was handy because we took our grandson with us there was a lack of comfort .No easy chairs .We were very hot at night but didn’t feel comfortable leaving the windows open overnight . A bigger bed would have been good.Lack of privacy because of the staff access across the front of the bedroom and too dark with the curtains drawn I was sitting watching the television one morning and a staff member looked straight in.Not deliberately but because of the way the staff door opened .Lots of movement and door opening and shutting in the mornings when the staff came on duty .A very rusty handrail in the bathroom .Could do with replacing .Definitely wouldn’t want to stay in number 8 again but maybe a room in the hotel .
Staff were very friendly and accomodating
The triple accessible room was perfect for myself and my elderly mum.
Breakfast was lovely - a good selection. Breakfast wait staff excellent - I didn't get her name but she was so polite and welcoming
We ate in the Hotel one of the evenings having pre-booked our food choices.
I personally found the food stodgy and not very appetising - mine was very salty/peppery too.
BUT - the staff in the dining room were lovely and it's no criticism of them - I just did not rate the quality of the food.
The place is excellent. The staffs were polite and helpful.
The blanket was dirty. As our rooms are extensions and it was like elderly rooms. The Wi-Fi was very bad. And the ceiling was very noisy when someone was walking in the upper room.

Disappointing Stay – Misleading Parking Info, Smelly Room & Poor Service
We booked Hotel Winchmore in Llandudno through Booking.com, and overall, our experience was extremely disappointing.
From the moment we arrived, the service was very poor. No one explained the check-in process or guided us properly to our room. There was no warm welcome, and we were left to figure things out on our own, which felt unprofessional and frustrating.
The room was in bad condition – it had a strong, unpleasant smell, and the atmosphere was far from clean or comfortable. We honestly found it hard to even stay inside the room.
One of the biggest issues was the parking situation, which was a complete letdown. The hotel listed parking as available, but when we arrived, there were no spaces. We had to wait outside for a long time, hoping a spot would free up. In the end, we were forced to park outside and pay £5 extra. This is unacceptable, especially when parking was a key reason we chose this hotel. The listing on Booking.com was misleading, and nothing was clearly communicated in advance.
The staff didn’t bother to explain anything – no directions, no details about the room or hotel facilities. Everything felt disorganised and unwelcoming.
Overall, this was a very disappointing stay, and I would not recommend Hotel Winchmore to anyone. I hope Booking.com looks into this listing, as it does not reflect the reality of the guest experience.
Good location close to town, shops and pier. Lovely clean room with tea/coffee and biscuits. Nice breakfast menu. Pleasant helpful staff.
Very accommodating. Breakfasts good, Location excellent overlooking the Prom, very handy and flat for walking to the shops or along the prom. First year for paying a car parking fee but well worth it £5 per day (Parking in and around Llandudno is very difficult)
For what we needed this hotel is fine it is the 3rd consecutive year we have used it.
Everything worked for us n we had no com0laints
