Had a great stay. Came first time just myself and our dog. Lovely friendly staff. Rooms are dated but very comfortable. If you want the Ritz pay their prices. My stay was so good myself and my hubby and dog came again 3 weeks later. Yes the floorboards creek but it an old hotel. Hubby said that breakfast was amazing and we will be coming back again. Tried to book for a few days this week but unfortunately hotel is under renovation 😔. Not to worry will be back as soon as reopen ☺️Entertainment on evening was awesome. Thanks guys hope to see you again soon.😁
The Risboro is my first choice of hotel in Llandudno. It's great for single travellers. It's central and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The entertainment is good and the breakfast is amazing. Great value for money. I highly recommend.
Extremely warm and welcoming ,free breakfast ...a must
Cheap n cheerful budget hotel good service and a pleasant stay.
Nice helpful staff
Friendly staff on arrival, room small but clean and adequate. Excellent location close to town with parking. Ideal for my purposes.
Good staff but it's old and very tired. Singing on Sat night went on till 1.30 am and music till after 2.00 am
I was happy with the accommodation and the service and thought it value for the money
I had a comfortable nights stay here . I was going to a concert and stayed over .
Nice and friendly and a lovely breakfast .
Absolutely love my stay at this hotel.
The room was spotless, found the bed to be quite comfortable, shower was great, size of towels were a little on the small side and just small hand soap bar. The only thing that lets the room down is the windows are old and the noise outside on my last night (Satursay) kept me awake for ages!
Parking available outside if you can squeeze in a space or a nice spacious car park around the back which was a bonus.
Great breakfast options I was surprised to learn a full breakfast was one of the options, alongside a selection or cereals, bread and jams.
The entertainment on the Tuesday night was absolutely fabulous, she has an amazing voice and tried to cater for everyone’s musical tastes in the room she was also quite funny. Loved it!
The building is old and has a lot of character however good bed, linen and pillow cover could be provided rather than proving old worn out linens and bed. The stairs and the room carpet is full of dust, witnessed some ants and spiders habitating happily. Breakfast is provided but the cleanliness of the cutleries is questionable. The notices from outside the room and within the premises is loud so hard to sleep at night.
On the positive room was spacious. Free cooked breakfast and free parking on the road was made available which is a plus point. Overall it is not the cleanest place I have been so far and ok for a night stay.
A budget hotel which doesn't claim to be any different so you should have an idea of what to expect before you book. Yes, could do with a full refurbishment like most hotels but it's old and has character. We never spend much time in a room so decor is low on the priority list. As long as the beds are clean which ours were (very comfortable) and there's hot running water (the old shower was in fact very good) and the heating works then that's fine. What's important is the friendleness of the staff - excellent, extremely helfpul. Food - plentiful, good choice, good portions and quick attentive service. Entertainment - Elvis was fabulous and Mark & Eryl - WOW! worthy of being on the West End. We've seen a lot of in-house resident entertainers and in our books they take some beating. A very friendly hotel. We would defintely visit again. Thank you Risboro we really enjoyed our stay.
We booked this hotel as a family of 4 for the day and evening in Llandudno.
Unfortunately the room was filthy, the double bed had either blood or tomato sauce on it.
The room itself was a little dirty and outdated - understand that old fashioned is the norm for seaside resorts.
Bathroom was filthy.
Described as a pet friendly hotel, we were told that we couldn't bring our pet to the breakfast room. So we didn't have breakfast in the end.
Felt welcomed nice ppace to go for a weekemd get away
Poor hotel, dirty room with blood on sheets. Room was unclean.
Pet friendly but wouldn't let our dog into the breakfast area to eat.
Stench if cigarettes inside, with staff smoking in the entrance as you walk in.
Won't be staying there again
Awful but excellent. Rooms are very tired and could do with a good clean but the breakfast is excellent and the entertainment second to non. Marilyn is very and absolute star. Very friendly, informative and lovely. Mark & Eryl the entertainment team are so good you want to come back just to see their act. Oliver on reception and bar is very very very laid back but eventually gets round to helping! In all we will definitely be back. Thank you Risboro 👍
Hotel was cold and damp throughout, wallpaper was peeling from walls ,windows were coverd in bird droppings, running water and toilets being flushed could be herd in guests rooms, rooms went uncleaned and bins were not emptied,in all it was a disgrace.
If you want to see what hotel rooms in 1970 looked like ,stay here..needs any awful lot of updating
Friendly and helpful staff. Good entertainment. Great value for money.
Not one of your posh hotels but very good price, staff
very helpful & friendly. Good breakfast & entertainment
provided if you wanted. An all round very pleasant
overnight stay. Will definitely be going back again in the
future
