A Misrepresented Property and an Unacceptable Stay and a dangerous place for women beware!

Nothing, as we preferred to seek an alternative accommodation on the spot rather than spending one night in this place.

Accommodation is completely different from what was advertised.

I booked this property entirely based on the photographs and description displayed on Booking.com, trusting that they accurately represented the accommodation, including the hotel itself, the garden, the pool, the surroundings, and the area where it is located (very dangerous place at night as I was harassed by 3 men while trying to locate the hotel, which has no sign or no lights at night).

When my mother and sister arrived at the hotel on the morning of July 10th, they intended only to leave their luggage before check-in. Instead, they found a property that bore no resemblance whatsoever to what had been advertised or described in photos. The property was filthy, poorly maintained, and clearly neglected.
Among the most serious issues:

The swimming pool presented an obvious health and safety risk, with broken and uneven tiles that could easily cause injury.
Outdoor furniture was broken, rusty, dirty, and stained.
Sun loungers were covered with heavily stained mattresses (birds or rodents excrements mostly)
The entire property appeared neglected, unhygienic, and poorly maintained.

My sister was briefly shown inside one bedroom. There were already several people inside the room, which made her feel uncomfortable and prevented her from properly inspecting or photographing it. We believe this was a deliberate attempt to discourage photographic evidence. She also reported a strong unpleasant smell inside the room and a small pool filled with stagnant grey water. Once again, the interior looked nothing like the photographs published on Booking.com.

This accommodation was fundamentally different from what had been advertised and paid for.

This holiday was intended to celebrate my mother's 70th birthday, and the booking cost almost €1,000. Instead of creating a memorable family celebration, Booking.com allowed it to become an extremely distressing experience as we had to seek an alternative.

Staff and interior makes the difference

Very nice and posh hotel with an amazing stylish interior boutique. Very lice and spacy room !
Thanks to Marouane and Andelmalak for great service and support during our stay.

Cons:

The room could need some TLC, and especially the roof terrasse and the cousins were quite dirty. That goes for both our rooms. We stayed there 7 nights which is quite a lot in Marrakech, but a bigger variety in the breakfast would have been appreciated.

Une magnifique parenthèse à Marrakech

Un boutique hôtel magnifiquement décoré, personnel bienveillant et aux petits soins, Très bien placé et au calme. Chaque chambre dispose d’une superbe terrasse sans vis à vis avec vue sur le jardín de Majorelle ( et les bruits de la nature)

Pros:

Je tiens personnellement à remercier le personnel de l’hôtel pour leur gentillesse incroyable. L’hôtel est absolument merveilleux, la suite était super spacieuse et climatisée. J’ai eu le droit à une petite attention avant de partir, je conseille cet hôtel. Le passage des personnes pour la boutique ne nous as absolument pas dérangé. De plus le logement est très bien situé. L’hôtel nous a donné un contact pour un taxi. Petit plus : je remercie le personnel de prendre soin des animaux, c’était vraiment appréciable.

Les prix sur place sont assez élevés.

Modernes Hotel mit hochwertiger Ausstattung – gehobenes Preisniveau, leichte Abzüge im Service.
Pros:

Hotel liegt direkt am Jardin Majorelle außerhalb der Medina. Sehr schönes Maisonette-Zimmer mit ruhiger Terrasse und großem Bett. Badezimmer war gut ausgestattet. Gute Klimaanlage zum runterkühlen. Wahl zwischen gemischtem marokkanischem Frühstück oder einem von vier verschiedenen Broten z.B. mit Avocado oder Ei. Pool generell schön.

Cons:

Sonnenliegen wurden morgens nicht sauber gemacht werden und man musste aktiv nach Handtüchern fragen. Nicht-Hotelgäste spazieren auf dem Weg zum Store und Restaurant am Pool vorbei und machen auch gerne mal ein ausgiebiges Fotoshooting. Teilweise lange Servicezeiten beim Frühstück.

Absolutely loved it

I absolutely loved the apartment and the entire hotel! We had a beautiful private terrace, literally next to Jardin Majorelle, all the details and the design is just so beautiful!
I loved spending a few days here after staying in the Medina previously - so much more clam and quiet and only a short walk or taxi ride to the medina.
I can’t wait to come back, thank you to the staff for making our stay so wonderful!
