The food was okay
Would not recommend, bath room was not what is on booking.com room wasn't really clean, bathroom door didn't shut unless you pushed it at the bottom, bathroom was dirty, bath has chips in making it very uncomfortable so couldn't use it. At first we thought it was dirty but after running hand over it, it was chipped. Kettle was dirty on the outside and even worse inside.Carpet was dirty and stained and room was dusty, table top was in pieces ceiling is stained. And towels were ripped settee bed was stained and marked which was really quite bad, we did go and purchase a cover so we could atleast sit down. Staff on Monday and Tuesday clearly didn't want to be there, only a young man behind the bar with and manners. After complaining on our first night and one of the staff coming to look at the room we were advised that we owner knew about the table and would be there in the next day and would see us however nobody came to speak with us so I asked again on the second day to see him, only to be told "he has young kids and it's the holidays so he's gone home" I asked if we could get a room change but informed that they were fully booked and not possible. We booked for 4 nights and felt unwelcome by staff. Never saw the owner all the time we were there. Definitely not recommend.

We were given attic room very hot, even with fan provided. Did not like wet room bathroom, floor very slippery. Think this is quite dangerous for elderly couple which we are. Breakfast ok.

Loved the helpfulness of the staff who let us put our tandem in the bar for safe keeping. The food was simple but well cooked and the portions huge. Breakfast was excellent. The room was spacious and spotless and the bed comfy. The shower was good and the provided toiletries great.
