Pros:

Die zentrale Lage, direkt am Marktplatz.
Das Zimmer war sauber

Cons:

Das Hotel ist renovierungsbedürftig. Die Zimmereinrichtung ist alt. Der Abfluss im Badezimmer müffelt, der Duschschlauch war kaputt und der Zugang durch den Hinterhof war sehr unordentlich.

Lovely setting, super staff, generous welcome.
Pros:

My first Question on my trip was ‘Is there a place to safely store my bycycle’ and here we had a firm yes. I was allowed to park in the back yard of the hotel behind a secure locked gate.
The young lady at reception was welcoming and she was generous enough to tolerate my English only questions.
A nice room with all the facilities one would expect and a great view over the Marktplatz.
I enjoyed a lovely evening meal on the terrace outside the hotel and a generous beer (or two ;-)).
The hotel did not provide breakfast on the morning I was there but this allowed me to visit Katharinenkirche early as the day was waking.
Thank you for a lovely stay in your charming hotel. A highlight of my cycle ride along the Rhine.

Absolut unakzeptabel, bitte von booking.com entfernen.
Cons:

Doppelzimmer am 18.Juni 2025 gebucht, beim check in am 3.10.2025 nicht verfügbar, nur 2 Einzelzimmer. Es gab keine Rezeption,nur eine nervöse Frau mit Handy in der Hosentasche, die kaum Deutsch sprach. Wir haben die Einzelzimmer abgelehnt u sind gegangen. Auf der Treppe hat uns noch eine Frau auf Englisch beschimpft, wir wären disrespectful, etc. Dieses sogenannte Hotel gehört nicht auf Booking.com.

Einmal und nie wieder.

Familie war freundlich.

Nach zwei Buchungsversuchen, ohne dass ich die versprochene Bestätigung erhielt, buchte ich über booking.com
Eine steile Treppe mit mangelhafter Griffmöglichkeit verursachte den Sturz meiner 80jährigen Mutter. Fernsehen funktionierte nicht. Auf Nachfrage erhielt mein Vater die Antwort, wenn er Internet habe könne er TV schauen. Das Wasser war morgens lauwarm und abends immerhin etwas wärmer.

Einzig die Lage war gut.

Cons:

Frühstück war den Preis nicht wert. Pappige, billige Brötchen, Wurst und Käse. Ei sehr hart.
Bäder schmutzig, Mülleimer nicht geleert. Kaltes Wasser zum Duschen.

Frühstück für diesen Preis miserabel
Pros:

Hotel und Übernachtungskosten waren o.k. und die Lage optimal.

Cons:

Das Frühstück für 13,50 Euro ist das Geld nicht wert. Pro Person 2 helle Brötchen (solche, die man beim Bäcker wahrscheinlich für 50 Cent bekommt)ein kaltes gekochtes Ei, Kaffee, etwas Beilagen und ein dünner Orangen-Nektar.
Ich mache öfter Kurzreisen, aber selbst in grossen Metropolen gab es noch nie so ein schlechtes Preis- Leistungsverhältnis.
Besser in die nächste Bäckerei gehen und sich selbst versorgen.

Not much value for around 140 euros or something like that.
Pros:

Good location with no close parking.

Cons:

When I booked the room the website said only a double bed room was available but when I stayed there I was the only guest in the hotel. I lost my keys after a few days and they didn’t have spares. Said they were too expensive to buy. Lied to me and said they had no master key and then came up with a master key and let me in the next day. Came an hour later than when they said they were coming. Gave the man 50 euros cash for making new keys and receipt never came via email as he said it would. Spent their time complaining to me about what their costs were. I had to make all the phone calls after I lost the keys because they told me as my number was an international number they would not call me because they would have to pay for the call.
