For a minute, I made my booking. It was a pleasant experience, personal taxes from the owner that were letting me know when the room was ready, and if we have arrived yet in her location stating that she put the key in the room for us was a bonus. We didn’t have to rush or worry about finding her to check in.
Staying at the cottages was like a serendipitous event. Unsure where to stay we just happened to choose Island View Cottages in Sebastian And we are so glad that we did.. It was a great Choice.
When we checked in we were greeted by Kathy who made us feel that we had been transported to a time when hospitality and friendliness were king. Kathy was awesome, she welcomed us as family. It was the way you always would like it to be but very seldom is. We truly loved our stay at the Cottages.
If you are looking for five-star facilities You might miss all the special touches that make a stay at the Cottages a five star destination.
What started out as a place to stay has become a destination. If you are lucky enough to get a reservation congratulations you hit the jackpot.
If you are the type of person that looks for everything to be perfect then you'll miss a perfect place to stay..
The photos are a bit misleading. We were expecting a much bigger space and bathroom was too tiny.

Everything was A+ - staff - location - cleanliness. This is my favorite place to go for relaxation.
Just wish we could have stayed longer
The place was cute and the location was awesome.
The AC was loud & blew on the bed all night and we could not adjust it away and we did not sleep well.
A charming, quaint "Old Florida" feel; the rooms were sparkling clean everywhere; great bath & kitchen facilities. The grounds are beautiful & the location is perfect....close to everything but away from all the noise around the Main Street areas.
The staff were very welcoming & helpful.
As a single woman, I didn't like that the blinds did not cover the windows completely, so I rigged up some towels with some clips I (luckily)had, or I would not have felt safe sleeping thinking someone could peer in between sets blinds.
The mattress was a bit thin for my taste but others may not mind.
Those are my only complaints
The grounds were immaculate. The manager was so nice. The units were amazing and it was only a short ride to the beach.

Beautiful location on the Indian River. Close to restaurants and shopping as well as cultural centers.
A pool would be nice
What an adorable property! The grounds are well
maintained and right on the water. They have a small waterfront area, perfect for watching the sun rise. The cottage itself was well appointed and comfortable, perfect for a couple. We had such a short stay since I was there for work, but would love to visit again one day!
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Nice amenities. Clean and up to date cute cottage. Walking distance to restaurant and park.
Would of been nice if had swimming pool.

Didn't have the breakfast, but everything was great. I enjoy fishing and had the opportunity to fish on the dock which was set up nicely. Though the fishing was slow, I did catch a couple of keepers. The dock also provided a great opportunity to watch the sunrise. The owner was very nice and welcoming. The cottage was had everything we needed and very clean.
That I couldn't stay longer. The little town of Sebastion was awesome, a great park and excellent restaurants.
love the property and location, amazing sunrises, the room even small has all the required amenities. staff is very nice and they accommodate all our request.
the shower is extremely small, something to consider. mattress and pillow could be upgraded.
No heat....space heaters were ineffectual. Mtg. should have been better prepared.

cottage was really cute inside. Having a useable kitchen was a big plus.
