Comfortable and very helpful staff.
Pros:

The staff were extremely helpful and went out of their way to help us. The room was comfortable and quiet even considering there was a wedding going on.

Exceptional value for money compared to other hotels
Pros:

Good location for the wedding I was attending, free car parking, spotlessly clean, modern, almost new bathrooms, super helpful and friendly staff, nice shower gels and room facilities like tea and coffee. Tasty breakfasts.

Cons:

The bed was a bit too hard for me, and due to the type of room I had chosen, I was on the front of the property which had quite a lot of road noise. There is also no air con in the rooms but the hotel provides fans.

Convenient overnight accommodation when eating at excellent restaurant.
Pros:

We were eating at the restaurant so very convenient in that respect (btw evening meal 10/10).
We asked for flat sheet to replace duvet as so hot - they were very happy to do that
Excellent staff in both hotel and restaurant.

Cons:

Quite a climb up the hill from town on a hot day!
Room a little bit expensive for quality of decor etc.

A charming location with exceptional service, let down only by the tiny room size.
Pros:

The staff were absolutely lovely and friendly, making us feel very welcome. The location is beautiful and the breakfast was excellent. Everything was spotlessly clean, from the rooms to the common areas.

Cons:

Unfortunately, the room was extremely small. The double bed was tiny, and there was barely any space to move around the room. Two people sharing the space felt cramped.

An excellent stay with exceptional staff, great breakfasts, and a genuinely welcoming atmosphere.
Pros:

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Psalter Hotel. The staff were outstanding—always friendly, welcoming, and regularly checking to see if I needed anything. The breakfasts were excellent, and I particularly appreciated their flexibility in catering for different dietary requirements. Highly recommended.

Cons:

Nothing to complain about. My stay was very enjoyable, and I found the hotel, staff, and facilities met my expectations throughout.
