Excellent, value for money Hotel. Would recommend.
Pros:

Hotel Steinkrug is convenient to the Autobahn. I arrived on their rest day but my key was waiting for me in a security box. All I had to do was make a phone call and was given a security number and I got my key. I have used this Hotel several times before and would recommend.

Cons:

Rest Day - no access to restaurant. Everyone deserves a day off and there is a Bar/Restaurant a few minutes away by car.

Excellent value for money hotel. Great attentive staff. Would recommend.
Pros:

I had dinner in the restaurant and it was excellent. Breakfast spread was really good. I have stayed at this hotel previously and I would recommend.

If the food don't kill you the service will!
Pros:

I was invited here for Sunday lunch last week otherwise I wouldn't ever have come to such a place but being polite I agreed to try it out!

The restaurant itself looked okay but lacked the relaxed atmosphere one would expect on a Sunday maybe some nice music would help change that?
So the waiter brought the menus and I have to admit the prices belonged in a three star restaurant🙄
I decided to give the smoked salmon salad with horseradish dressing a try for my starter.I couldn't taste the dressing and found the dish boring😑

For my main course I ordered trout miller style because in this part of Germany it's known for big beautiful rainbow trout and my mouth was watering with delight! After what seemed to be an hour later the main course arrived my trout was tiny and looked like it had just be defrosted it was dry and horrible 😒 The potatoes tasted of nothing .very disappointIng.after what seemed another hour the pudding came which was okay but nothing to sing about😏.
