Great apart form small bed, which for us is a deal breaker
Pros:

Spa was great, staff were lovely, breakfast great

Cons:

The king size bed was not much bigger than a standard double. I queried the staff twice about the size of the bed. Definitely not a king size. I paid for the king size and wouldn’t stay again due to the beds being too small. Everything else was great

Lovely hotel with attentive staff
Pros:

The reception staff including Molly and Helen were so attentive and helpful even before our stay, keeping in contact to help make check in smoother when I’d booked for multiple people and taking a pre-order for the restaurant. Myself and my husband stayed here for our wedding along with family and friends and we couldn’t have been happier we chose the Waterside. Everyone was extremely welcoming for our family and friends and the rooms were beautiful and clean. The staff couldn’t do enough for us, right down from allowing us to keep a sentimental bottle of wine in the fridge for the morning of the wedding, to helping me with a last minute trip to my room in my wedding dress when I’d forgotten my key. Thank you so much!

Cons:

Nothing at all - the only thing we’d suggest is labelling the small double rooms better on the site to make it clearer that they are small double beds (not just small double rooms)

Pros:

I loved having breakfast included and the leisure club facilities available - pool, jacuzzi, sauna, etc.

The staff was so friendly and so hardworking.

Cons:

The shower was not made for tall people, low ceilings in the bathroom and the shower was placed lower (struggled to fit if over 6foot).

The same at the bar, really low ceiling. And no mind your head signs. It would be great if added.

Breakfast was great and staff was non stop but it was always missing food. The 2 days we spent there we were always waiting for more food to be replenished.

It was a great stay full of lovely people, food and activities. This is a place we felt very welcome
Pros:

Breakfast was very good standard. Location was excellent for us. The pool, spa and gym facilities were excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They are a credit to the company.

Cons:

There could be better wayfinding signage from the reception to the spa/gym areas.
Our room, 203, was comfortable but a little small. Suggest putting a console table under the tv to allow better clothes hanging space on the bedroom/bathroom wall, as 3 or 4 hangers is a bit minimal for anything over a one night stay. Be good to have coat hooks somewhere too.

First ever stay in a leisure centre....
Pros:

Staff were all very pleasant and professional.

Cons:

This is essentially a leisure centre with rooms. Car park was extremely busy so parked a long way from entrance.
Room very, very small and very hot!
