Lovely friendly helpful staff, nice communal areas, everywhere looked clean, nice breakfast.
Room incredibly small, could barely fit a standard double bed in, inadequate clothes storage kettle lead unable to reach plug socket without blocking a very narrow aisle, TV bracket too far from wall becoming a collision hazard when trying to navigate aforementioned narrow aisle, Sink drainage very poor, no air conditioning and the portable fan in the room made the right noises but offered no airflow. I'm not a natural complainer but it seems the simple things were all done wrong in this room.
Spa was nice
Room was very small, bed was also too small.
Breakfast was lovely and it was in a good location.
No air con and the room was incredibly hot. Fan was useless and we couldn’t open the window as we were on the ground floor overlooking the car park. We melted!
No Airconditioning, but I was warned prior to arrival and it was a heat wave
Facilities & Breakfast
Room lacked proper aircon
Staff very friendly and helpful
Beds very old and comfortable , no water provided in rooms. Very noisy all night
Honestly nothing
Uncomfortable bed. Extremely busy health club , not at all relaxing.
Gym is amazing, breakfast was really nice and the staff were super helpful. Went during a heat wave and they tried to do all they could to assist with Fans in each room
Not alot I can say here tbh
The best thing about the property was the parking.
The rooms were tiny, no air con, dated furniture and only had a nightstand on one side of a double bed. When I mentioned the room size. It was pointed out I did choose a small double but to be fair I thought that referred to the bed size NOT the room size. You had to walk sideways to get to some parts of the room. Your knees touch the door when you sit on the loo in the bathroom if you’re tall. Breakfast was 5/10 & finished at 10 on a Sunday which we didn’t realise. No one said and there’s nothing in the room with info on. We had some hygiene issues which we reported and the staff were quick & helpful in offering a solution.
Location & facilities
Ceiling heights. Husband has hit his head in bar area on low ceiling cutting it open.
Location food
Restaurant food was very good but the interior fit out could do with a bit of interior design 👍
Clean rooms with everything needed. Nice quiet location. Staff friendly and helpful.
Plumbing noisy & could hear toilets flush in nearby rooms.
The location is near to Manchester airport & The Alexander Hospital. The hotel is lovely, offering good spa facilities.
The room was quite small & the shower cubicle didn’t have any shelves to put soap etc on.
Location was good for us
Rather worn out in some respects
