Great hotel in great location.
Pros:

Little gem
Pros:

This is a lovely old building which has been refurbished to a very high standard. It has an attached seafood restaurant and bar inside the building which was great and the team did everything possible to give us a great stay.

Cons:

Only issue was parking but not to bad as the multi storey is just around the corner. Surrounding area is not the best but that's not the hotels fault and we were booked for the theatre anyway.

The worst part was that from nine o’clock till eleven o’clock boy racers raced around the multi storey car park engines

The breakfast , tasteless mushrooms, tasteless square of black pudding , it has a run down feeling .
The view from the bedroom is awful .

Excellent property well run with very good restaurant and bar. Would highly recommend.
Pros:

Having previously stayed at the property it was refreshing to see that the same excellent standards that we enjoyed on previous visits were still being met.

Cons:

Nothing about the visit that we could pick fault with, we had a genuine very good stay

A perfect boutique hotel in the heart of Darlington
Pros:

This was my second stay and it did not disappoint. Everything about this hotel is just wonderful but the thing that makes it shine is without doubt, the staff. We also thought the cocktails were pretty perfect and breakfast (in the courtyard, enjoying the beautiful sunshine) was divine.

Cons:

Nothing at all! It was a very very hot day and the hotel had already left a fan in the room. It felt like every detail had already been thought about.
Already planning when we can come back.

Pros:

Beautifully renovated building in touch with its Georgian roots. Some of the nicest food I've eaten for a while and superfriendly staff. Couldn't fault it.
