Good stay, friendly host! You can rent a scooter with them and book tours.
Super friendly owner, clean and comfortable room, close to the ferry station.
The location was very convenient, being within a short distance of the port where we disembarked from the ferry. There are some street food stalls directly opposite the hotel (rice dishes / banh mi). Several cafes / restaurants are a few minutes away by motorbike. The island is very easy to travel around on a motorbike as it is not that big and the traffic is generally quite light (especially in comparison to traffic on the mainland.) There is a temple with whale and dolphin skeletons on display nearby that is worth visiting. You have to ring the gatekeeper in order to access the complex. His number is on the gate.
The hostess was extremely helpful and always greeted us with a bright smile. My partner is Vietnamese and therefore did most of the communicating but the hostess did speak some English and was very happy to help / advise us with any queries we had. She was able to arrange the bike rental for us (one of the cute "minion" bikes). The bike was simply brought to the hotel for us. Very convenient.
Don't really have any complaints. I was more than pleased with the accommodation and found it to be good value for money. Everything in the hotel was in order and the hotel room was adequately supplied with basic necessities.
Perfectly located by the ferry port. The staff were so friendly and helpful with everything, especially Julia who spoke really good English, which is helpful on the island. The hotel and room was probably the cleanest I’ve stayed in Vietnam. The bed was so comfortable I had the best sleep in the time I was there. Highly recommended.

It's a very clean and well maintained family home that's super close to the ferry so it's perfect as a base and springboard for exploring the island when you first set foot there. Plus the hostess Julia is a hospitable and gracious woman who speaks good English and can tell you about the island to get you oriented. She can also help arrange motorbike rentals and give you a good price. The insides are clean and quiet with a no shoes policy implemented. And the WiFi is pretty good
It's not close by the beach or anything but is well situated between chaoyang bay where the most spectacular sea view on island is and the biggest town on the island.
It would be nice to have a bedside lamp or a clip-on light on the bedboard

There is an auto-light out of my room. It turn on each time someone come to the corridor. This affect my sleep a little bit.
The location was in the golden spot, near the harbour and other services.
