Lovely break
Pros:

Loved the air conditioned room was fabulous on a very hot night

Cons:

Such a shame that you are not serving food really feels like your missing a trick in that area as we couldn’t get a table at the next local pub so clearly there is a need

Expensive for one night with little choice breakfast
Pros:

Great location and able to park up at 11am

Cons:

Soon as got there was told no food severed and it was only 7pm. No tv outside in beer garden

Pros:

It was very comfortable, and I felt well looked after. Nothing was too much trouble. The owner and staff are lovely. The location is great, and Pickering is a nice village in a beautiful part of the world.

Cons:

Rather a lot of stairs to get up to my room, especially with luggage! But that's inherent in the age of the building. I was there in the middle of a heatwave so wanted to sleep with the window open, but facing out onto the main road, it could be noisy.

Lovely staff, lovely room, lovely food and drink. What's not to like?
Pros:

Breakfast was excellent. A yummy English breakfast with great drinks hot and cold.

Cons:

I liked everything - especially the staff. They gave me a "warm Northern welcome", which is as good as they get. Nothing was too much trouble and they were genuinely kind and helpful at every turn.

Fantastisch verblijf met vriendelijke eigenaar.
Pros:

Zeer vriendelijk personeel dat ook meedacht. Nette kamer en schoon. Heerlijk ontbijt met voldoende keuze dat aan tafel geserveerd werd.
